David Briggs introduces his new CD 'David Briggs plays Pierre Cochereau'

International American / British organist and composer David Briggs records for the first time with Base2 Music, a collection of transcriptions from the famous Pierre Cochereau, title holder of the grand organ of the Cathedral Notre Dame of Paris. 2024 is the 100th anniversary of Cochereau's birth, and 40 years since he died. The recording here was made at Exeter College Oxford, and it is also the 30th Anniversary of the Walker organ installed in the Chapel.
