A lot of people seem to think this video is directed mainly towards women, and while it does give an amazing message to women, the more you look at it the more messages you can find that are aimed towards everyone. It's relatable to everyone in some way on a lot of different levels.
Lindsey breaking out of the control to do what really makes her happy, something that a lot of people struggle with.
Being told what to do/wear and where to go and such something a lot of other people have to go through.
Being denied something you aim to do, wanting to have something you are truly passionate about. Everyone searches for something like that but a lot are denied it due to controlling figures in their life.
Wanting to explore more, wanting to try new things and find what truly makes you happy. Something that nearly everyone relates to.
Even as a teenage male, I find inspiration in this video, it shows that it's very relatable (like the things mentioned) to a lot of other people as well as women.

There's a LOT of symbolism in this video, as you might have figured out. Lindsey is the normal girl in the video, while the man on the computer is symbolism for modern day society. He controls what she wears, where she goes, and what happens to her. She doesn't like what's happening to her, but she feels like she has no choice until she finally realizes she doesn't have to follow society's rules. She doesn't need to dress like what he wants, or go where he what's, or does what he wants. She is independent and does what she desires despite what anyone else tells her. Great job, Lindsey. Weather or not this was the original theme for the video.... It makes you think and it gets your imagination running. Thank you again, dear! Your videos are amazing!
Tespri yes I do think that men are programed everyone is before they're awakened and my only goal is not to win a debate but to defend people especially the ones who seemingly can't defend themselves. Yes it was rude of me but it irks me to see people try and demean others. I know what the truth is. It actually seems that you don't because you try and turn my comments on the ruling class around and make it something about elementary grade kids. The ruling class looks to distract us with things like make up and muscles and those are just the bare basics they've got much more serious ways of keeping our eyes off of what they do. If you wish I'll explain that after you respond, do not mistake for one second though that they don't program society the one percent wish to control us. They want us to be mindless zombie slaves so, when they wipe out ninety percent of our population the ten percent won't fight back. If you don't believe me or think me crazy then do your own research. I'll point you in the right direction search FEMA death camp or Phil schieder or even the most simple and broad view of it. Look into the Illuminati I've studied it for years. I may not have shown it before but I am very open minded about a lot of things but when I know what is real what isn't my opinion will not be swayed.

This video is amazing. The guy represents society; dictating what we wear, how we act, and basically controlling us all to be the same. But Lindsey says "Hey, it's okay to be different." This video is so inspiring to just dare to be different. Lindsey truly has a gift, not only in the sense that her music and videos are inspiring and beautiful, but also in the sense that her music doesn't need any words to make us understand exactly what she is trying to say or show. Hands down one of the best artists of our days. Much love, respect and admiration for Lindsey Stirling :)

The first time I listened to this song was in 2014. I was so inspired by it to pick up Violin and play this song on it.

She is free, she is original, she is her self, with her ideas and she follow her dreams, proud of her, her dreams come true.
I don't understand why people choose to dislike this type of stuff... I mean really if you don't like the violin don't watch her videos, if you don't like that she doesn't have any lyrics to most of her videos then don't watch them, it's entirely your choice to watch things you don't enjoy. I for one love the violin as well as Lindsey's dancing. So if you don't mind I'm going to get back to watching her videos because it is my choice to watch them.

If you post a video with 301+ views, then you would probably get some dislikes.
900 dislikes isn't a lot, which pales in comparison to the likes.

I seriously don't understand how some people are confused by the concept of the video, I mean seriously, if you feel you don't understand, interpret it how you want to, and let yourself understand it by your own laws. To me, it's about a semi-abusive relationship, where the man is choosing everything for her, and she is getting up the courage to escape that. She's eventually showing everybody whats she's made of, and too us, she's worth a lot :)
I noticed that once Lindsey, including this original video of hers became popular, someone in the advertising world took notice of the design of this video, and later incorporated these types of graphics in a television commercial. Lindsey and crew , paving the way, once again to creative and entertaining visuals, appreciated and taken to practice by others.
Undoubtedly, Lindsey Stirling is the best violinist, dancer, singer, composer and performance artist of all time ... A perfect and amazing combination!

I remember first time I heard this song few years ago. It was fresh and promisingly for me and I even didn’t know who Lindsey Stirling was. I just thought it would be temporary passion for few days… ‘cause it always happened to me with lots of artists, singers, performers. But it didn’t that time! It was genuine music! Then I learned all playlist step by step and I was fascinated by harmony of her creations. And Transcendence was, actually, the first Lindsey’s song that I heard and tried to spread around my friends ;)
Also, video has quite strong conception. We often try to be flexible depend on environment and conditions. But it’s really important to remember who you are. It’s always necessary to have an ability to understand how the world and society try to change our personality and how we should act in such context…
Lindsey, it’s hard for me to express all my positive feelings about your performing and videos in English;) But, also, I wanted to mark your great talent as composer. I guess it’s the most important thing for creative musician.

There is more too this amazing video than what meets the eye. There is a hidden meaning behind it. (This is my opinion) I think it means she no longer lives according to others wishes. I really like this song its long in a good way ! I have never heard the violin played like this , at times it sounds like 3 or more instruments like a fiddle and violin infused ! I 'm 63 and have never heard a violin like this in my life, its not just electric , but more ! Her actual heart which is beautiful is infused in the music as well !!!! She's no longer the student , but the master !!! You don't have do be an expert , you just need ears !!!

Huh, I know different people will see this video and in turn interpret it differently but the way I see it, the projections where like societies expectations, she was never going to perfectly fit them but she could try.
