🚀 Don't miss the chance to admire and learn from the best in the business!
He's a very complete player. He gets aces, he blocks, he's a fantastic digger and he attacks. Fantastic!
kinda lazy in the block tho
He is a God of invention and his decision making capacity is outstanding....wilfredo leon comes with force but lack of skills while NGAPETH is Crafty ... Definitely he is a G.O.A.T
👊😉
Big Fan For Earvin N’Gapeth
Could you guys do one about a middle blocker
Great idea. You can be sure about that in the near future💪😉
1:46 That has to be a carry 100000000%
That is what I do not like about the French team, nearly every soft attack is a carry and they do not get called by ze ref
Pretty sure its not a carry, a carry is when a player catches the ball from one direction, and changes the direction after catching the ball. If he was to catch the ball, move it forward, then switch the direction, it would be a carry. He tipped the ball the same direction the entire way through from what it looks like. Also you are watching a clip in slow motion, that might affect your perspective. Hope this helper :)
@@tormartinab Thanks that explains a lot actually, that means the ref from the Olympics needs to be fired asap for calling wrong carries. I agree with you. I waited for an explanation cause my Google was not giving one out only chat gpt gave one out and I was not sure if this would be right so I think your explanation is the best 👍
@@tormartinab Doesn't matter if you change the direction or not, if the ball stays in your hand for too long it's a carry
@@marcolindo Just checked FIVBs rules and they dont mention anything about directions so i dont know where i heard that but youre right, here is the definition by FIVB
CATCH: the ball is caught and/or thrown; it does not rebound from
the hit.
He is good, but he is not in his prime anymore. The german Team was able to block/stop him like 4+ Times. Grozer blocked him with ease. And other Teams were easily able to handle his attack. His softattacks are smart but cowardly. (Hope this doesn’t get deleted) Kai from the Japanese Team would be able to spike through any gap in a 2 or 3 man block. And he is not even a top 10 Player. But from him a lot can be learned. (From Earvin)
Nothing will be deleted here brother. Everybody got the right to share their opinion👍
"cowardly", sorry what? not sure what you mean there. If you mean a player ought to hit the ball hard to be considered good, I think this is totally wrong.
What matters for a GOAT discussion is not whether the player has the biggest spikes! while spectacular, what does matter is how many points a player can score, esp. in the most difficult situations.
I came to this realization in the last years, one of Earvin's biggest strengths is exactly that: his variations to score sound infinite, _even_ when the ball set seems shit.
@@baptistemathus with this I mean where he could even easier score with a spike he uses a tip or feint or what its called in english. Some of them are understandable but I do not understand when he uses them and doesn’t score. In some of these situations he would have totally scored with a spike.

Grebennikov defense is foul since it is double touch.
there are like 17 Grebennikov digs in this video alone, mate
@@louiss2441 Look at the start of the video
@@qwertiyiThat first one really looked like a double touch 🤔
0:06 not a referee's mistake, that's the official rule since a few years. Double touch in defense is considered as a single one (I think there's a subtlety about it being on the same flow or something, but you get the idea)
@@baptistemathus Thanks for the reply. Is there official article about that? I think double touch is double touch. What's the limit?
these are often short and useless information, if you’d provide more in depth and reasoning as why he made those decisions at that moment it would be more useful. anyone who has played volleyball for a considerable amount of time will see through this
Thank you for the feedback. We are trying to find the balance by showing the most interesting highlights and still keep it informative since we are limited by the video materials that we have available.
