People think Pretty U is an easy song since it is cutesy, afterall. But Pretty U is a nightmare dressed like a daydream kind of song. All elements of a good performance are present - vocals with 4 high notes, continuous choreography, acting, and CHARM. This is basically a musical performance. Charm and youthfulness are hard to summon over fierceness. This was a great performance and really gave justice to the energy of SEVENTEEN.

DEFINITELY DESERVED THAT WIN! They gave off better chemistry on the stage. At the end of the day, this is a girl GROUP survival show. Their energy is also great, they gave justice to the song. Everyone was able to show off too, great decision for Lee Yun Ji and the team for giving Myah the part as it was for the best. Communication really is one of the most important aspect of a group and they had that.
Oh no i cant anymore, i keep seeing a lot of praises about the girl who did the high note, SHE WAS STRUGGLING, not to insult the singer but the whole passage was shaky AND FLAT, IT WAS FLAT AND NOBODY CALLED IT OUT, and on her last note on the high note, the way she reach it was she'd do thiss uwahh-uwahhh-uwahh-uwahhh, than eooh-eohhh-eohh-eohhh, shed had an uh sound to reach the other note And it sounds horrible and it was shaky to the end. @@limaruji5556 I totally agree! By need more praise, I don’t just ignore the fact that the 3-step was bad, I just mean it’s a good attempt and with more training she could do it A LOT better. It was really shaky and the last part was really bad. I’m not a music student but I know a lot about music too. The 3 step was bad but she throughout the performance was really good. And most importantly, the main reason she didn’t make it wasn’t because of her abilities or lack of, but mainly because she doesn’t look like the stereotypical idol “too pretty” face. All the ones remaining do have the typical idol look except for one or two. She has potential as a lot of people in this team have mad potential. This performance, yes or yes red team, ice cream, fate, shoot and u+me performance are the best in the show. Doesn’t mean each performance was perfect, but they were all beyond just “good” as the whole team engaged to fit the concept and personality of the song, with really good vocals and all. With some more training and more effort the performances would easily be perfect.

I praised her in spite of that, because she actually has potential. Besides not everyone can do high notes properly, not everyone can be Seungkwan or IU etc, but I’m sure in time she could nail that.
Perk of covering Seventeen’s song is that there will never one person overpowered another person because the song itself used to highlight each and every members who performed it even if it is 13 members. No one will be left out. It is the strength of all Seventeen songs.
they're so damn good, everything, from the vocals to the rap, hats off to liu shi qi for reaching that 4-octave highnote, i really like all of the rappers' voice. it's really refreshing and kinda feels nostalgic watching this, as it has been quite a long time since last we saw the original singers perform this
As a CARAT, they really performed this song just like how energetic SEVENTEEN is. It's full of bubbly vibes, and the character they give is full of refreshness that captivates the audience even more. They enjoyed the stage just like SEVENTEEN does. Good job Pretty U team!

be honest, they all look like an actual group already. the chemistry is just amazing, each girl is able to shine without outshadowing others. there's really no doubt why they won. everything is just purrfect. as what the judges said, chemistry and teamwork is important. in fact, they're able to pull off those expressions very well, hence making the best interpretation, closest to the original.
I don't know how many times I've repeated this perf. Kotone's low tone rap, Myah's unending cuteness, the vocals, raps and their expressions are something worth to watch a million times. 'Just can't get enough'

Kotone, Ruan and Gu Yizhou are doing insanely good in the rap parts! they're not Korean, but their flow is flawless, esp Kotone, her part in the first verse is hard, but she delivers with such ease. I voted Kotone today, I regret knowing this side of her so late.

Even if they aren't more skilled than The Eve team, they performed the best as a team. They got the energy necessary to pull off the song and they completely fit the concept. They also look like they're having a lot of fun while performing. Overall they did an amazing job and this was one of the most enjoyable performances of this round!
To be honest out of all the performances this is the one i was most looking forward to not because there was a particular trainee i liked or im a svt stan. I just really really like this song. Whenever i hear it i smile and cant help but do the feet tap. AND I MUST SAY THIS GROUP LIVED UP TO THAT FEELING I LIKE ABOUT THIS SONG. And that is why for me this perf really deserved that win.
Appreciation comment for Lee Yunji, the leader of the team! She's honestly a nice girl and an amazing leader. She accepted Sunmi's advice and I didn't feel any anger towards Myah and she even cheered for her in rehearsals.

I honestly think they were the best during this mission. No one overshadowed anyone. They were like enjoying their time on the stage and they are not there to show off their talent.
Kotone is really good and I'm not surprised though because she's from the most talented group from the audition performance (the group with Hikaru, Shana, and Rei). All of them already have solid skills so I hope they will go far in this show.

Even if they aren't more skilled than The Eve team, they performed the best as a team. They got the energy necessary to pull off the song and they completely fit the concept. They also look like they're having a lot of fun while performing. Overall they did an amazing job and this was one of the most enjoyable performances of this round!
