At 1:40 I couldn't help but laugh at the prospect of "Just in case you missed any of this, we are going to say it all over again from the very beginning until it sinks in".
Usually the North westerly winds are gusty in Melbourne. It could also be caused by mechanical turbulence which comes from buildings as the wind is disrupted.
Congrats to the cabin crew as well for not rehashing welcome to country after landing. We have all got the message now. Nobody was comfortable with that PA, as it was political and nothing to do with safety. It's patronising to the indigenous as well.
I actually was going to mute the video after landing on the assumption they were going to say it but thought I would brave it out of curiosity seeing as this is Qantaslink and not "Qantas" per se. I breathed a sigh of relief when they did not do it. What is their protocol these days? Does Qantaslink never do it? If so I will happily travel on Qantaslink!
The sound of those RR engines 😍
