Very sweet memories,memorable days.It was only through Medina University I was able to stay in the city of Prophet pbuh for 4 years.

Alhamdu lillah, I have had the unique university to study in IU from 1978 to 1984. My most favourite university where I have learned all that I need to purify my heart and enlighten myself and conveyed the message of Islam to those around me wherever I traveled in this globe and had the opportunity to disseminate beneficial knowledge to my students in class room environment.

Subhanallah its been almost ten years ive know shaik tim humble and hes speech just suck you in and hes so clear to understand and so benefiting allahamdulillah he makes me feel proud hes from uk he is just so beutiful and the noor on his face you can clearly see an notice a tru muslim by a miles away its just in their character the beuty of islam resembles. Their is a big difference between a tru muslim and a nonmuslim aswell as those who are just muslims because they were born in a muslim famly and just have that label on them theres a big big day and night difference between the two. Its easy to recognise those who are living under the guidance of ALLAH and follow the footsteps of the prophets and messangers of GOD almighty.
They should have Sheikh Assim Al Hakeem talk about his memories from Umm-Al-Qura University, or at least someone since i want to study there but i cannot find anyone who i can talk to about this University.

I wish to study at the islamic university of Madinah but for me the only issue is attaining the reference but inshallah I will get admission into the university by the will of Allah and study amongst the scholars and relay the knowledge I attain onto the next generation and also remove the misconceptions towards islam by many of the muslims but also the non muslims inshallah.

I never understood that. Most of the Sahabah were over 30 when islam began. Knowledge seeking and knowledge gaining shouldn’t be limited by age. Many reverts like myself came to Islam in their 30’s. Oh well.
I wouldn't let that discourage you from applying. Yes it does say that but I've heard of brothers outside of that age range become accepted, alhamdulilah. Besides, the university gives preference to reverts despite their age. You have nothing to lose really. Apply, make istikhara, and that's it. Allah knows best.

Memorise the Qur'an, learn basics of Arabic, go to Medinah and take a face to face interview at the uni, bit it would be good if you could speak Arabic to some extent, may ALLAH grant you success

Nice account Alhumdulilah, i do feel after hearing this and another similar talk that much emphasis is being placed on negative aspects of the University. We all go for Hajj and some of us may have a not so good experience but still the head is high and nothing is detracted from the baytullah
Speakers not once mention explicitly sahabah (r). You should draw comparisons to their struggle and pursuit and how our threshold is a result of years of western indoctrination leaving us very critical of everything. Alhumdulilah ala kulli haal

Subhanallah, all these aeroport imigration and visa issues. It just puts ordinary people who dont have noble connections from coming and learning Islam. And why on earth people have to go through this horrible experience of fear that they would not let you in the country. This is so much to my heart, as My post Russian country does this to their own people who decided to live abroad, have families abroad children, who have foreign citizenship. We simply cannot go and visit our families back home, fearing that immigration officers would not either let us in the country or out of it.

if you think that bad experiance, think about our phropet Nabi Muhammad s.a.w in the begining to spread islam to arabs.
I feel sorry about the bureaucracy you have faced , but I was happy that you have explained many things regarding application, the living conditions of new students etc... It will take me long to discuss these with you. My request that you send this video to the administration of the university hoping to make it easy for the new comers.

Its sad that they make it so difficult for students who are willing to study islam. Compared to other christian universities in the west where they are so understanding and polite. May Allah make it easy for everyone who want to study Islam.

You can't compare between the numbers of people who want to study Islam and the number who want to study Christianity, besides there's limit to the number of people can be accepted in any university of the world.
Don't make your hatred for the Saudi blind your judgment, and don't forget the good things, that you study for free and live for free plus free tickets to your country every year in all the years of the university, but hatred is a great door for shayetan to spread unjustice.
@@NadDew Unfortunately today Saudi Govt. does not represent Islam. My point was that Its far easier to get admitted to theology studies in other universities than in Saudi Arabia. But again Saudi Arabia doesnot represent Islam, Also not everybody studies for free stuff.
