  • 1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 review this example is mint with just 50k miles. This 1999 Firebird Trans AM is not a normal Firebird, it is the fully loaded V8 Trans Am with the WS6 package and in pristine condition. It also has SLP performance parts on it like Exhaust and intake.

Love that generation of Trans AM. I miss Pontiac, actually GM should have killed BUICK and kept Pontiac and Saturn, IMO.

The Firebird was one of my favorites back when I was a kid. Pretty nice to find one like that with the low mileage!

Sweet car! I wanted one like that so bad when I was in high school, particularly with the ram air scoops, they just look fast standing still!😍

I have an 02 Collector Edition Trans Am WS6 that I picked up 4 years ago with 22,000 miles on it, took me 4 years to find one here in Canada. It's absolutely spotless and never been driven in the rain. I was supposed to sell it as I bought a new 2019 Mustang Bullitt last year but I just can't bring myself to do it. I think even now the 4th Gen Trans Am is one of the best looking cars on the road.

It’s nice seeing a review video for these cars. A couple of things. Since that’s a 99 WS6 it’s factory HP would have been 320 for WS6, 305 for base TA and Formula. 2001-02 got the WS6 325 and 310 for the base TA and Formula. The change in truck cam and LS6 intake contributed to the HP change. Looks like the previous owner added some tasteful mods in the wheels, exhaust and short throw shifter. Which would explain why there wasn’t much play in neutral. I have the factory Hurst in mine and it’s considerably longer something I mean to change soon. LOL! The 500 watt Monsoon would have been standard on all TA trims 98-02. Not bad for the car during that time. I’ve had 3 of these and they are stupid fun. The looks I get while driving breaks necks.

I have a 2000 ws6 TA with 55k miles. I love these cars so much. The best thing about the interior that you didn't mention is all the gauges glow red when the lights are on. When I was little, I thought that looked so badass, and I still do today.

Nice vid man. I have a 1999 red firebird trans am WS6 as well. Yup still own it with only 80k miles. Still rides like when I first purchased it in 2000. Definitely a head turner for sure! I do agree with the interior with door panel cracks and seatbelt ring coming off. However, everything about it is amazing and truly one of its kind for sure. I’m glad I bought 20 years ago and still own it. My 6 year old son will enjoy it at some point!! 🥃✌🏼

The 98-02 WS.6 Trans Ams are my favorite cars. They're so raw, I love em. They're design is perfect. I love how the car's style is, "Don't give a shit." I don't care if these cars aren't the fastest, I don't need the fastest. There's cars are so beautifully unique. Cars today are so boring and all look the same. I had a 1996 t-top rans Am and I miss it.

This was my car I sold a few years ago. I put the wheels; lsfest sticker slp sticker; did the ceta mod on the back (in plastidip) painted the calipers; the wheels are OE Wheels; the car had never sat a day outside until after I sold it; it was stored in a garage its whole life. It has an MGW shifter. I have the original in the garage. The window motors and speakers were replaced.

These are awesome cars!! I've owned my black 02 WS6 for almost ten years now. It's got 62K on it, almost like showroom condition. Love everything about it. I'll be keeping it until I'm to old to get in and out of it!! 😆👍🇺🇸
