You’re literally saving me as an artist. It’s so frustrating that I’m not doing anything because I don’t even know what to do or what I want? I know so little and every time I watch your videos I just feel a little more sound. Thanks.
How did the interview with avatar studios go?
What if she signed an NDA?
@@madisynnalvarez5221 can still ask
I too would like to know (no results yet lolo)
@@qrbitsartI hope you make it :)
@@qrbitsart If they don't hire you, they're making a huge mistake! I want to watch a version of the show with your characters in it. Very professional, great attitude, I hope it's a slam dunk for them.
You did such a great job talking about the difficulty of striking the balance between being present in the moment and wanting to remember it afterwards! I can remember the smell of bend and the chilling air in the cave we went into from your video. What a great recap of our trip and also questions to keep in mind when we are recording future videos! 🥰Miss you roomie!
thanks vincy, looking forward to your version of it!
oh to be painting moles in love next to u again
I am a songwriter who loves the idea of capturing memories through songs, and 5:40 is exactly what I do! It makes my songs so much more personal to me, like a real moment from my life has been immortalised in a meaningful way. Thanks for this video, helped me organise my own thoughts 🌙
Hello ! I listened to your songs and I really like it, keep going
Oh thank you so much, that means a lot ❤ I will keep at it! @@Nizzou
love this. it's weird sometimes how we can be almost perfectionists with how we remember, or document something - like there's a right/wrong way to do it. truth is, sometimes i find meaning in filming something, other times journaling immediately afterwards, and sometimes none of those things. and really cool how you tied it back to the camp community! here for the flannel drawing as well haha so on point -Nate
I started watching your videos after your "How I put down my phone and started making art I cared about" video. Saying that video inspired me would be so cheezy because I think you've heard it hundreds of times lol. But it really did inspire me. Some sentences you said didn't leave my mind for a week: like "create or be consumed" (now it is written on a notepad next to my desk :)" I really cannot explain how much your 20-minute video touched on my life, but thank you. I know I am a stranger on the Internet, and you are also a stranger on the Internet, but I really appreciate your touches on my life. sending virtual hugs from the other side of the world
wow, I recently discovered your channel and every your video I watch gives me so much inspiration and will to live
Thank you for that
Wow! That video at the end almost brought me to tears. You’ve captured something really important here, and articulated it well. Now, I want to find a way to capture the essence of where I’m at in a moment, so that down the line I can look back at these snapshots and remember. 💜
I'm in a really bad place right now, and just wanted to say thank you. This video was good life advice, and sometimes, we just gotta return to the basics.
another day, another video that i never thought i would think about for the rest of my life, but now i do 💗
you're quickly turning into one of my favorite creators out there, i am finding so much meaning and artistic message in your videos that i feel like i haven't seen anywhere else, your content is amazing and it feels like it's helping me figure out myself in a way as well. keep being amazing
What a beautiful song 💜 love the collage you made to go with it.
Thank u so much for making these kind of content, this was needed in youtube
Gosh.. I am only a minute into your video and wow your editing and captured shots are so beautiful. Your videos are so inspiring, calming and immaculately created! 🕊
This is so well done
Commenting to boost! Love this video essay, I wish more art channels did this
This is wonderful tbh,
I struggle with the same concepts of wanting to capture memories though a lens, but I tend to think that its better to just document later instead- to not dilute the experience like you said
This video was actually so good omg
Wow I really love that ending moment amazing 🥺💜
Glad i found your channel. Really admire the way you create your videos and make it work with your art too. Thank you for sharing this. Was wonderful to watch :)!

exactly
The song at the end is so beautiful! Are they going to upload it somewhere?
Amazing stuff! I love all of what you had to say, and am super glad I came across your channel recently!
Sometimes I struggle with figuring out ways to remember events and various encouraging things in my life, but I appreciate all that you said about "creating order from chaos" being time consuming and often difficult, along with learning how to process the chaos and create something from it, knowing your audience, how it should be remembered, and what form it should take.
Keep up the great work!
p.s. What is basecamp?
Ye pretty much
I love the song at the end, are they going to release it???

lolo that was a peak perfect broll moment

Early
Please tell me the song at the end is on Spotify 🥺
I definitely suffer from FOMO and tend to record random videos and even audios all the time. I journal frequently for my future self to know how I was doing. I recently attended a workshop for documenting art and realized how little I film myself while I’m drawing and immediately bought a tripod and started filming when I sketch. I felt all kinds of emotions watching this… you rekindled for me the importance of it all once again, thank you so much for this beautiful video.
You said your memory isn’t visual, I feel the same way about my memory. Is it possible you have Aphantasia? (poor or lack of mental image) it something that I’ve noticed about myself and a few other artists. I just find it interesting, that some artists have images in there head that they need to get out and others create art to discover what they can’t see in their head.
Thank you for the video it was great.
Yes! I have aphantasia, and I can never visual things in my head well. I didn't realize how much it extended to other things like memory, not just art.
Oh that is interesting, it reminds me of the people who say they can't hear their own thoughts but still read/write somehow. I don't have aphantasia tho, I can picture things quite well in my head, often better than I can execute them ;; maybe I prefer to visualize things I haven't seen over things I have
AHHHHHHHHHH new qrbits video dropped!
Not english here, what is exactly a basecamp ? And Excellent video
