Wow! RC nostalgia Heaven! Enviable collection no doubt. Good job sir. Watching your vid from my finished basement btw. Yeah, indoor racing in the late 80s, via the local converted roller rink. Made for a nice track, bit slick though. RC-10's, Grasshoppers, Frogs, Hornets, Hotshots, Optimas, Mabuchi 540. Hell yeah! Dedicated & Serious competitors made for great heats. Even though I was only a spectator, it was a riot to watch. I'm now 50, and still, I desperately want to get my hands on a 1986 Kyosho Vanning !

what I started doing with RC Mart (hong kong) is paying extra for express- they FedEx the stuff here in usually a week from when you hit the button, the only lag is it hangs around in Kowloon clearing customs for a few days, love that rc mart

I see a Kyosho Ultima kit in the background of your video. I am building one now. Did you know that a company called " Factory Works" makes fiberglass parts for this kit? They are using the old A&L molds to make these parts. They make the shock towers and also the upper deck for this car. Basically this Kyosho car is a retro kit and so are the modified parts too. I really hate the bottom loading shocks this kit comes with. I do understand that they are correct for the kit, but Kyosho has better choices of shocks for this kit. Any thoughts on this?
Marco B I did sell it and completely REGRET doing that! At the same time, I sold a NIB Tamiya Super Hot Shot. From the money I made from both, I put it toward buying a Tamiya EGRESS and a NIB Kyosho Raider ARR. I guess i felt guilty buying 2 more RC’s and to justify it I sold 2 RC’s. Keep in mind i love my EGRESS and Kyosho Raider and am glad I got them, especially since the Raider was my first RC car ever as a kid and the EGRESS I just think is such a cool looking RC and I actually use it. But I learned something from this, whenever I get the itch to buy another RC and begin thinking bout how I’m going to justify it and start thinking about selling some to finance others, I think about this experience and use it as a reminder NOT TO SELL. LOL
@@RCRetro I have a 2013 nib Egress that's sitting begging to be built as well. My first RC was a frog and I have one of those too. Love the Egress. I also have a worlds car, king cab with the stealth, a mint Jrx T and a Kyosho Outlaw Ultima. I'm missing a cougar 2 to finish my collection of all the Rcs I had bitd
Thats a nice collection you got there. I don’t have any vintage Losi’s but i looked into a few. Damn things are even more expensive the the original RC10 gold pans and only pop up from time to time on Ebay.
@@RCRetro I think I paid 450 for the jrxt two years ago. Then I bought another one for 200 which was a parts truck that came with the original box and manual.
You ask a valid question... I drive a lot of them. Some I haven't gotten around to building yet while some other RC's I have run a few times and then restored them to 100% original. I do have a mix of runners and shelf queens. I like to collect and restore some, while I have other vintage runners and rerelease runners.
