Pro 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Sweetheart... you need a dolly & measure tape. 😂 I'm enjoying your new life. You are blessed. P.S. I had lived in Lake Los Angeles for several years, so we lived on raw land approximately 3/4 acre, but we had neighbors. Anyway, if you like animals get geese (great watchdogs...they will alarm you of predators), cats (allow them to roam outside during the day) snakes hate cats), create an orchard of fruit & nut trees), get a greenhouse, a large shed and a large fish pond farm.

@@Chris-hr4ly It sounds like you need to get caught-up! Regardless of when the furniture is purchased, they'll eventually need it. There are some deals that you just can't ignore; common sense tells us to buy what we can--when we can. Her husband is tying-up loose ends in their previous state, before making the transition to AZ full-time. They are "working together". Living off-grid, means you're not relying on the traditional amenities; therefore, there will be no plumbing in the slab. Search UA-cam for clarification on living off-grid. That may sum things up for you.

If you do actually find gold or use a metal detector don't put it in a video lol. They'll come take that from you since you don't have mineral rights. also check into water service in your area. They usually have tanks and water for cheaper than you can buy at Home depot. My friend lives in BFE Arizona and he got a 4-500 gal tanks for $250 a piece and they fill them up for $100 each

Greetings Simona, my wife and I are fans of your channel and have enjoyed watching your progress towards making your dreams come true! We are Arizona natives and farmers, so we enjoy seeing someone else come here and love it as much as we do. People who say you're crazy for coming here have no idea what they are talking about, I would take a hot summer over a cold winter any day. You can live cheap and spend vacations at the beach or the woods, both only a few hours away! Also, MEXICO! We vacation every year in Puerto Vallarta/Sayulita because its close, cheap and beautiful! We are wishing you the best in your journey. Now that you have trees in the ground, water will be a concern going forward. Those trees don't need a lot during winter but once Febuary/March rolls and soil temperature increase, they are going to start getting thirsty. You might want to look into hauling water using a water trailer. They can be found on marketplace, sometimes for cheap, so if you started shopping now you could take your time to find a good deal. Usually you can haul water from a nearby pumping station for pennies on the gallon. We have some land and haul water, its no biggie you just need the right equipment.
Also, your tree spacing looks good now but you might want to add a rodent barrier at the base. Sometimes in the summer these thirsty little desert mice like to chew trees/cactus for moisture. Using a barrier works or you can put out rat bait on a regular basis (I use "Just One Bite", its the farmers secret weapon against mice.)

Simona, the guy that was talking smack! All he was doing was giving you a plan to succeed at building a home and thriving in Arizona. Remember to be like that goat that was in a hole. Everytime they threw dirt into the hole the goat would pack it under him. Eventually he walked out of the hole thanks to those that tried to burry him. But I wanted to let you know you're working way to hard at getting things off your truck and into your building. As long as you can back up to the double doors without spinning rocks and or dirty into your home, back that truck up! I had to learn a truck is a work horse and plays a major part of the team when doing DIY projects and construction! And! Since you're doing things alone get you two stakes [make them visible by painting them either orange, yellow, white] stake them into the ground several feet away from the door and as wide as the door and used them as backup markers and a stopping point in order for you to load and unload stuff into your building from your truck bed with ease. New housing communities can be a great source for gathering materials out of their dumpsters needed to use for temporary materials you're going to throw away, such as plywood to use as a ramp for sliding things off the back of the bed, building frames for cleaning rocks and or platforms. But! You can pick up nails in your tires! So! Enter at your own risk! However, when I renovated my mom's home I was always picking up the scrapes of wood we'd cut after framing walls and using them elsewhere. Very little went to the dumpsters without doing double duty! And, when you get naysayers ask them to unpack their thoughts! God's word say's he'll use the jawbone of a donkey to bring about His purposes! Judges 15:16
    P.S.
And! For goodness sake please start buying the basic cordless power tools! I own Dewalt because they were a step up from the Black and Decker I owned. So! I thought! Later, I later found out that Dewalt is owned by Black and Decker. However, my brand of choice is Milwaukee. And! When you invest in power tools make sure to buy 20Volts and nothing less for construction jobs. You'll need that torque to do certain jobs. Trust me! And! Sometimes cordless tools just don't have the power to get several jobs done as why you'll need to invest in power tools that must use electricity. Find your local Habitat for Humanity. Volunteer! Not because you need their help but you need construction knowledge! And! They are the ones to give you that knowledge because of their need for free labor. Having construction knowledge is power! You can hire people to do jobs you don't know how to do with ease and fire people with ease when you know they aren't doing jobs as they stated they can do. From where I'm sitting, I think you and your husband can do the interior framing. And! I'm stopping here! I'm writing another book because I want you to succeed! Love you!

The beauty of negative is that there’s positivity that will shine it’s way… positive: the more you do the more you are going to learn… you are doing a great job… put the trees on a dropper system…. Uses a lot less water and the dropper system is as simple as connecting plastic and plastic tubing with no glue needed… connect and snap into place… your plants are going to grow fabulously where they are…. I like the progress…. May not seem like a lot… but when you put it all together it’s like woah 🤯…. I’m excited to see how welcoming you build up that entrance…. I can picture a rose garden along one of the nearby trails so when you are taking your afternoon, evening, and morning strolls… you see and smell beauty… along the corner bam nice house

Pollination. Pink lady apple trees, like most fruit trees, are not self-fertile. That means you will need at least two trees, which are cross-pollinated by bees and other insects. Good pollinators for the pink lady include the Gala apple tree, the Fuji apple tree, and the Granny Smith apple tree.

Woman if I was there I would help you. Don’t listen to other people and their fears.
I’m planning on doing the same in Washington and it snows there. I’m just working on my income. I plan on making a tiny home village and make it like a little resort.
But it’s all gonna start with me and my son being out there to direct the show of contractors.
I am loving what you are doing.
I lived out in the desert in New Mexico with my dad at one point. So I know exactly what you are dealing with. He has electricity but that was about it. Lol 😂. I tell you I got fit because there was a lot to do out there and no fast food. Lol
Keep doing you. God built you for it! So make it happen.

Welcome to AZ! I live not far from that garden art store on 66, we boldly relocated our family here over 12 years ago from OR after the big housing bust, we also did a drastic no financing homestead move and it was the best decision of our life. I'm confident you will be blessed as well. We've adapted quite easily and never let nay sayers influence our decisions, altho always open to advice or other opinions. Wishing you guys all the best of success!! Looking good so far.. keep it up and stay positive! :) 👍

😭 having to replant after all your hard work. For Transporting the water, have you considered the 5-7 gallon water containers such as AquaTainer or Ozark? It may be easier and cheaper to bring water for the trailer to the land like you did, but unlike the waterers will limit spilling. They're normally about fifteen bucks and carry about 6-7 gallons (which can get heavy so if you get several and fill them halfway it may be easier)

If your able to find a tree company or a saw mill that has woodchips. Whenever you water your trees or garden or Whenever you do get rain it will help greatly to keep the moisture and nitrogen in the ground around your plants.
