I came to know his name from comments section from another jump rope video, Mr Lee is not only a extremely skilled jump roper but a nice teacher too. His knowledge is so clear.

Great teacher and video. His teaching style reminds me of boot camp at Ft Benning.

I guess it is not possible to slow the pace down to 1.5 - 2 jumps / second instead of 6 ?

He’s not teaching her anything. He’s ego tripping with those Jedi rope skills. He’s beating all Jed’s Dark or light side :-)
    Shits still insane

LOL!!! Everyone is trying to market their speed rope tech. Buddy Lee, CrossRope, RPM...RUSH Fitness...Trick is not to get caught up in the hype. Dild pro boxers have this tech in their ropes in the 1930's? Did Joe Louis? Did using just a cheap cloth $2.00 rope stop them from becoming champions? :)) The exercise equipment market is so HUGE today...for speed ropes, Powerlifting gear, Olympic Weightlifting gear...there's a "garage gym sub-culture"...guys spending $3,000- $20,000 for their garage gyms...GARAGE!! Means they can't afford to have a home with a room for their gym where there's good air ventilation...a/c...sacrificing their cars to the elements. Possible vandalism.
So many ways to size a rope. Even Buddy Lee is giving us HIS own ideas. Most say to have the rope go up to our armpits as the handles vary in length. No one tells you to have the bottom of the handle touch the top of our shoulders. We all have different degrees of muscle tone on our shoulders...some are skinny, some people have fat, some have been bodybuilding and have very developed deltoids (back, side and front)...Some people are small boned..etc.

Nothing wrong with trying out different brands. I will say this, the cheap Everlast rope I bought as my first rope couldn’t keep up with me and I was a beginner. So yes, while you truly just need something you can skip over, if you want to do more you will need a rope that can do more. If you would like to skip rope with an electrical cord because you’re a cheap f-ck feel free don’t try and make others ?? their purchase though!! Also, home gym is ideal, I pay $57 a month for the YMCA. That really adds up over the years. Would absolutely love a home gym.
