Talking about crazy cures for mental problems from the past, here's a sad story for anyone who wants to read it, my aunt actually lost a friend by that. He had bipolar disorder, and was a really good guy but struggled A LOT with that. He tried to control it, but after having kids, he was too afraid of hurting them, so he ignored his wife BEGGING him not to go, and got himself in a mental hospital. He was killed by the procedures VERY quickly. Take into consideration, my aunt isn't 90 or smth, SHE'S ONLY 60, THIS WAS ONLY LIKE 20 YEARS AGO.
