I wouldn't call them "strays" because they've never been domesticated by man. They're still wild, and can still become aggressive towards people. I always compare them to wild birds - you can feed pigeons, ducks, even crows, and they'll become habituated to people feeding them, but they'll rarely, if ever, be domesticated or pets.
beautiful creatures
Losing to someone with no antlers has got to be beyond embarrassing. Like losing a boxing match to somebody who has both arms tied behind their back.
oh deer

No different where I live in suburban Ohio except we do not cut off the antlers of the whitetail deer bucks.

Not all wild animals live in the wild they also live in cities, towns and streets!
Oh deer.
how about Yakuza Deer :) the ones guarding shops etc
I feel like the whole removing the antlers thing is cruel, and interfering with nature. It shouldn't be done. 🙁
It’s not cruel, it doesn’t harm them. And they’re hardly “natural” living in cities and getting fed by humans.
Bro, they're deer. They drop and regrow their antlers every year anyway.
