Re the motor boating on the Pixie, have you tried powering it with a depleted 9v battery George?
Not yet....might give it a go...trying to destroy a pair of 6146B tubes presently on the TS520. whilst playing the pokie mode FT8..so far only a little smoke :)))))) GE and 73.
