Keigo Oyamada (Cornelius), resigned due to a problem with an interview
article about his past bullying, shortly after his participation as a composer in
the opening ceremony of the TOKYO 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games
was announced on July 14, 2021.
This problem was caused by the interview articles in two magazines, “Rockin'
On Japan (released in 1993)" and "QuickJapan (released in 1995)”, but based
on an anonymous blog article by an individual who arbitrarily edited the
contents of these two magazines. The mass media reported the interview
articles including misinformation that was not true which became a major
social issue.
This program examines and summarizes these events from various
perspectives and discusses the present and the future.
