But the accent and Theme is very hindi type that's why ..even if you're not Punjabi. .most people call it Hindi .
Simply because of No Punjabi / Dhool - Nagada or Punjabi accent touch .
Remember .. Linguistically .Hindi and Punjabi are sister languages and easily multilingual .. What make Punjabi distinct from Hindi is actually accent ..which Pani da lacks .! Punjabi is only Tonal language in North India ..
Without Punjabi having it's Actual touch it losses its distinctive nature and seems like Hindi type .
Going by word's it's definitely Punjabi but listening the music and Vibe it's looks hindi ...in this context I said .
Even when Ayushman speaks Punjabi ..no hindi speaker will even notice that he was speaking Punjabi ..why ? He has no Punjabi accent.. hope I answered your question. Words are Punjabi but way is Hindi .

"Pani da Rang" is a drop of nostalgic love and a spur of melancholic loss in the most mollifying of ways possible. Everytime I plug into this track, I find myself on the railings of an old terrace, strumming an imaginary acoustic guitar and reminiscing a real face. Water or Monsoons allegorically bring a sense of loss in the lover. Words like 'Hanju' add to the pain of afflicted hearts, as it means 'Tears'. Water reflects every colour but in the truest forms, is colourless. This achromaticity metaphors with the lost hue of red hearts in love and hence, a streak of rolling tears drying down the cheeks.
I want this song to remain underrated so that only the people with perfect music taste would listen to this masterpiece ❤
