I love that color on you, your eyes look so much brighter. Im almost 41 so gray hairs are becoming a thing I see more and more. Not too noticable, yet. But here in the US (Midwest area) winter is harsh, the air is dry, and my hair gets mousey and makes my skin look ashy and pale. But love this color on you! Thanks for sharing!

When it washes out, does some color still linger around and will it affect me wanting to put their grey/silver one on?
It definitely does seem to linger the more you use it but the first time it washed out quite quickly (it also depends how long you leave it on, they say 10 minutes but I always leave it for longer to get the best colour result) I would probably say use the silver depositing mask first before trying the chocolate one just to be safe! X
Do you think this would be okay for a blonde to try out? I’m scared I won’t t be able to go back to my blonde after using the cocoa mask.
If you only use it once it should definitely wash out after about a week/two weeks! But I probably wouldn’t try it more than that as this is probably my fourth time using & it’s been a couple of months and it still looks darker! There might be UA-cam videos of people with blonde hair trying it, might give you a better idea - if I find some I’ll comment the links for you Xx

What kind are you using here?
I have nano bead hair extensions and I’m trying to fix my roots, I want to use this mask like a dye and paint it on like a shaddow root, smudge them to mid length in Cocoa, then I’ll use the platinum from mid to my ends….
My current root colour is slightly lighter than your before photo, but my extensions are silvery and icy white blonde.
Thank you!!🥰 so I get nano bonds as well, I get the beautyworks ones which I’ve seen have been receiving bad feedback online but I’ve been buying them for 5 years and still love them!!
You could definitely use this on your roots, I would say be careful around the bonds as because it’s a mask and very moisturising it can cause them to slip (I don’t find this happens every time but if I’m not careful and massage it too deeply i do notice they slide a bit!)
How deep the colour goes depends on how long you leave the mask on so this should blend okay if you leave on for 10 minutes, I always do an hour because I want it to go dark😁 I also use wella’s colour depositing mask which they might have different shades of brunette too xx

OMG! It looks amazing. Does it stains your pillow/ white clothes? Also, how many washes lasts? Thank you.
Thank you so much! No I’ve not found that it’s stained anything, when you’re applying it I would definitely wear gloves and an old t shirt/towel as it does just to be safe!
On my hair it probably lasts about 8 washes (a few weeks for me before needing to reapply). You notice it getting lighter as some of the colour does come out each wash x
How long does it last ? How often do you have to colour it ?
I’d say it lasts between 5-6 washes! It’s probably not very practical if you want it to be long lasting but good if you’re wanting to try out another colour before dying it semi-permanently/permanently☺️ and leaves your hair feeling amazing!! Xx
Does it work in never colored hair (totally natural hair)?
Yes it will do, might fade/wash out slightly quicker but will definitely tint your hair xx
How long did you let it sit for ?
Sorry I’ve just seen this! It depends on how much time I have to be honest, but usually between 20 minutes up to an hour (the instructions say 5-7 minutes though!) 😁
I leave it on longer as I use it as a bit of a substitute for dying it regularly and only get professional colour top up once a year x
when you wash it off do you shampoo again or just rinse and do you use another conditioner after you rinse?
No so you just wash it off with warm water, no shampoo or conditioner🥰

how did it fade out?
Takes about around a month to fully fade but as it washes out slightly with each hair wash I don’t get noticeable roots and fades out nicely xx
