She is one gorgeous horse! She's so shiny, and her coat looks like the color of mahogany. Beautiful. She's very big too! Will be interesting watching you work with her. Gosh, she's so beautiful! She sure likes snorting!😃
I’m SO excited you’re working with this mare!! I just rescued a 2 year old mare who has had minimal handling, so it’s an awesome reference point for me! Can’t wait to see your progress
I love all the educational tips you give in your videos! I’m aspiring to be a trainer one day and your videos definitely give us all so many useful tips and techniques. Really excited to see more young horse videos! Keep up the great work Sam, you’re truly inspiring! 🖤
I really like the way you train horses.....trust first and the rest will follow. Phoebe did really well though I think she was most happy to have you paying attention to her with pets and soft words. Hopefully the owner will carry on with this approach as this horse is intelligent and willing.
She's a beautiful mover, and when it comes time to back her, it should be a lot easier. As you say, they learn very quickly at this age. Love your approach to her and your training ethics. Best Regards from Ontario, Canada, Jenn.
Hi Sam, Great work with Pheb's.. I think it would be great if you did a Vlog on the training tools that we use to help people that do not understand, they are only extension"s of our arms and bodies and not weapons to hurt the horses. As always, you're doing a wonderful job!! ♥️🐎
Loved the video & can't wait to see the progress with Phoebe! She is beautiful! Do you have a video on how to train a horse how to ground tie? Or in the future, can you make one?
Can you make a video about doing "join up" with a horse and what does this mean? And one about your space when you train a horse? I would like to watch it. You explain very well and I like it.
She's really blowing her rollers! She is a nice quality well bred filly with nice conformation. Good job. She wants to please you and play...I guess you're next to the airport....
lovely video! Can you tell me a little about your roundpen panels by any chance? I am curious where you got them from and if you're happy with them? I figure you've probably had some horses beat them up a little so you would know! Thanks so much
Hi. Could someone help me? I ride horses and we have this very naughty horse that starts bolting in a trot if a new person starts to ride on him. My trainer wants me to slow him down back into the trot after the bolt but I don't how to keep balance in anything faster than the trot (the trot is still a little difficult with minor mistakes of mine). My trainer said he does this to every person that's riding him for the first time because he's trying to find a weak person that he can break and run off with. He wants to break me and is pretty much battling me into letting him do stuff I'm not asking him to do. My trainer said that I can't give in to him because if I do once he will try to not listen other times I ride him. How do I stop him from starting to bolt? Will he stop when he understands that he can't mess with me and that he has to listen to me? Should I pull as hard as I can? He understands and does what he's asked but when trying to stop he either stops fully or ignores me? Doing the one rein stop isn't an option because I don't need him to stop and my trainer said he's controllable (i stopped him a few times so I know he is) but he's just trying to be one f the cool kids... How do I slow him down? How to hold on and should I grab the reins with one hand and place the other one on the saddle? Give me information that would help me control him easier he's a really sweet horse and I love him so much.
I have a 5 year old and I did train her slow she dose for get and I have to start over with and we are just learn ing with the jumps and she is doing good but I'm going to ride her in a bits brittle but she dose bot like the bit and can you tell me why she thought her hand a round can you tell me thank you Nannette
What happened with the unique fear solving video? Im slightly having similar issues but with indoors. She seems slightly more fearful indoor than outdoor
You can start working with a horse when they’re just a couple weeks old. Haltering, picking up feet, leading. No physical exercise when they’re that young, but they can start being handled and learn how to be a good citizen 🙂
Just a curious question why is she making the snorting sounds almost all the time, is it a sign of something in horses like stress, unsure, attitude etc? I'm very in tune with dogs but learning about horses slowly..
Grace Dodson usually snorting is a release of tension for the horse. Since this is her first session she’s just getting her head around new things so id expect some snorts! Mine do it when meeting new things sometimes.
Very good info and explanation of taking baby steps with a horse that's just starting out.

I love your calm but clear body language and patient approach!

Your horse sense says it all Sam! Love how you worked with her. I have a feeling she’s a quick learner. This’ll be fun to watch. Thanks!

Those cute little dragon snorts
Moving off nicely.
Pretty girl, and very sensitive! What's your philosophy on food rewards? Occasionally, end of training session? I notice you don't use treats often.
Cute mare and smart too. They’re so nippy at that age! Lol
She is so huge! Can't believe she's just 2 hahaha very very pretty girl 😍
She's really blowing her rollers! She is a nice quality well bred filly with nice conformation. Good job. She wants to please you and play...I guess you're next to the airport....
Very interesting video! I'm curious as to how you will adress things like head tossing and kicking (i.e. attitude). Love your way of working! :)
Great job :)

She's beautiful!
What a beautiful mover 😭😭
She's so pretty!

Mine are super heavy duty! 6’ tall. Can’t really move them alone. I got them from ‘It’s A Pleasure Training’ in Massachusetts
I found out your gonna be a judge at the Horse Expo in May! Im competing there! My friend and I hope to meet you!
Is it at the Eastern States Exposition in MA? There's a YT video of her there competing when she was younger. Have a good day!

@@inspiredclips8245 No its in Cali
What is your favorite way of rewarding?
Hey Sam!😃 I'm wondering what breed she is. I know you said warmblood, just curious about specific breed.😉She's gorgeous regardless. Love you.😘💞🇺🇸
What is she communicating with those snorts? Excitement?
What size is the round pen that you are using?
How large is your round pen? It is really nice!
60'
Oh my god I am in love with her.
i LOVE horses, and you are soooo good at training them! how old are you?
Can you do a video on how to teach your horse to read??

Look at the post on my community wall
You are lovely woman ..good job👍
how old does a horse have to be to start getting work done?
You can start working with a horse when they’re just a couple weeks old. Haltering, picking up feet, leading. No physical exercise when they’re that young, but they can start being handled and learn how to be a good citizen 🙂
She is big for two!😂
Just a curious question why is she making the snorting sounds almost all the time, is it a sign of something in horses like stress, unsure, attitude etc?
I'm very in tune with dogs but learning about horses slowly..
Unsure, maybe. Feeling fresh, definitely 🤣
Hey! More just feeling fresh. Horses will snort like this sometimes when they’re just galloping around the paddock with their friends too 😊
What does it mean when she is snorting?
Grace Dodson usually snorting is a release of tension for the horse. Since this is her first session she’s just getting her head around new things so id expect some snorts! Mine do it when meeting new things sometimes.
Sounds like you need to get out of the airplanes' flight path. lol
Sam is that Holly’s sister? So beautiful
Yes!! It is! She’s always been one of my favorites
Sam VanFleet honestly I love both of them. It’s hard to choose...maybe there needs to be 2
🤣
Are you definitely getting one?! I heard Holly had a PPE- was that you?
Sam VanFleet yes 😀
Those cute snorts though ❤️❤️😍
it’s so cute how she’s scared of the camera (or something behind it)
Want a beautiful horse and I like it and can you tell want a bits brittle can you tell me thank I have a jumper and can I use it thank you Nannette
