Say what you will about _The Trial of a Time Lord,_ but I find that there’s something very accomplished and near-cinematic about it even today . . . I’d even argue that in terms of ‘polish’ it holds up better than the preceding season 22 in spite of its inconsistent quality.
I believe I used almost entirely Zebra. I first recreated the bassline last year using zebra and then for this remix, I added several more layers to beef it up. There's the inclusion of Dominic's 2008 bassline that uses sampled sections of the original Derbyshire 1963 bass. A few places in the mix, I also used a few pieces of the Derbyshire pluck bass and 2 melody sections.
