Idk what happened during Covid, but year after year, Rarick has been writing some of the freshest stuff. Still feels/sounds Rarick, but also really refreshing.
I keep making space for Boston and BD in my head for the agility and difficulty of their books as the barrier to their cleaning up, but having been following this stuff for the past month, Coats are just sounding like they're gelling so well right now. One other piece that has been really standing out is how well the layering with Coats book is at letting the sections speak. There is some bass stuff going on with all of the top three lines that is RIDICULOUS, but I think it lands the best (from only seeing lot videos) here with BlooBass. So excited to see how well all the lines push through finals, this is a really exciting year looking at the Sanford.
I was at this lot and my friend who’s in bluecoats showed me the center snare and center marimba. The bass five and I got along too i my was really cool
Am I the only 1 underwhelmed with this year's book compared to years past ? They usually play way more beef. They got a few cool phrases but lots of triplet rolls, tap fives, tap drag basic licks filling up the rest

Rarick hasn’t been missing since 2015 bro wym
*2009. Bro’s always been on one 😮💨
Rarick has had this sauce since 2014 lol
And still loses…

🌻🌺🌼For The Bloomcoats Algorithm!🌸💮🏵
Hell yeah
I was watching blue devils lot during this and man the coats here sound much cleaner than the bd snare line 🤯🔥🔥
Much easier book imo
And yet they lost…
What an interesting book. Love the beginning especially
I doubted these guys at first but they are throwing down. The best San Antonio lot in my opinion. Well done.
I originally thought they wouldn’t even be top 4 this year but I was so wrong
They lost…
@@shadowkille8r99 That’s true man, you March?
At 1:58 and 3:57 you can hear a clear D(5) ringing with perfect sine wave intonation. The tuning is really satisfying.
ROCKIN’ it, dudes!👏✊😎

No way would I wear a pair of brand-new Maxes out in dirt and grass.
Did stick deals get better? I've seen so many lines w/out tape lately
Clear stick tape
does the snareline still use Jim Casellas?
Nope. Since 2019 they have used Tom Raricks
