That drop really gave more power to the beat. Melody in 1:43 was kinda simple. It was like the throughout notes (rhythmically and continuously going notes) and other notes actually depend on how that part should sound like to make it powerful, uplifting and epic. And then, it ends with chord pattern arp to give it an energetic feeling and to keep the outro powerful until the second last beat drop.
