Apex on a nano. Kudos to you. Crazy equipment you're using on the tank. 👍 Stability is tough on nano tanks. Much easier on a larger water volume. Things happen very fast in a nano.
My biggest mistake was leaving for my mom’s birthday in Houston and coming back to everything dead in the tank, as the power went out and the tank’s temperature dropped to 50 degrees Fahrenheit… 😭
that a nice nano reef. Ive never done anything that small since ive only had corals a few years but will probably stick to non-SPS for nanos since i find alk swings in my 60gal too fast in just a week. I also feel like a chaeto reactor would by easier to manage since there near no flood chance. If all else fails, carbon dose is my way lol.
You can mix your own after RODI filtration or you can buy it from your local fish store. I recommend starting with the latter but moving to the former since it's more convenient once you have RODI setup
Reefing success depends on three things. K.I.S.S- keep it simple stupid Kick Lars out of the house (lazy ass reefer syndrome) Test the water, an unknown value is a worthless value
I have two one is MP10 and the other is Hygger but tbh I'd get two Hyggers if I could do it all over again and apply the savings to coral; links in the description

Great episode 👌💯✌️
Awesome info here! Great video guys!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
You have a similar fish stocking to me. But I'm running a Red Sea Reefer 170 lol. Impressive
Jealous of you having a real sump but yeah the big refugium is working for us so far
Very good info. Thank you.
Stability is key. Also avoid putting your hands in the tank. The less it’s disturbed, the better the outcome.
Lesson 6. Too many fish in a NANO tank

can you provide links to the equipment you have?
Will add to the description soon!
Fluconazole is probably the reason your torch closed up.....I've read forums with hobbyists mentioning these adverse effects on corals.
I just have it a dip of Reef Primer and one of them seemed way happier the same day so 🤞
I do everything the old-fashioned way I don’t use technology because sometimes it fails
Yeah it's a time bomb but so intriguing as a grear head
Please do the video with the results * also which brands of food do you recommend! Ty
will do
What other creature can we keep in reef tank other than fish?
you can add snails, crabs, shrimp, copepods, clams, sea urchins and corals in a reef tank!
Reefing success depends on three things.
