When you're reducing the prices on some booth items, I feel it could be better to show the reduction by using a sale sticker or altering it with a red marker, because people love sale prices and they like to think they're getting a good deal. They're more likely to buy a sale item rather than something they perceive as being full price because they're unaware of the price already being reduced.
I asked her this before, why she makes new tags instead of a red marker or sale sticker etc.
She said new price tags are just how she does it (thanks for the reply on my comment a while agoJocelyn! )
I'm sure she has her reasons 😉💁♀️

As a person who had a booth I never did “markdowns”. I personally think it makes pieces look like they have less value. It’s a perception I know but markdowns appeal to some people and not to others..
Have someone who does jewelry put a different clasp on for you.

To hang the mushrooms. Just make a string or jute, ribbon loop on the those installed round picture hangers so that you can use your peg hooks. You also could use twist ties or just cheap hardware wire and make a bigger loop in the installed circle hangers. It makes it easy to hang on the peg hooks and the customers can remove it if they do not want to use the make do hangers.
The unknown thing is a drapery rod end finial. Rarely is one ever enough.
Hanging wire is gauged by number, 1 being the thinnest. A general gauge good for most of the pieces that you hang is 4.
You could restring the bracelet with elastic cord or replace the clasp. It is gorgeous!
Yes, I put Fall/Halloween out in my booths on Aug 1st. Tons of sales. On Sept. 1 I start putting Thanksgiving out. Christmas goes out Oct1. People buy the next holiday months early. Crazy I know, but if you want the $$, it's a no brainer.
Jocelyn the shop is coming along. A jeweler could re-string your bracelet you can't part with that beautiful piece of jewelry.
Two things, have the bracelet restrung with precious metal. It’s so pretty. Also, your shop would look ten times better if someone picked up all the little pieces of paper and swept.

Trash is never ending. She likely picks up a lot of it. Emptying boxes can make a mess in a hurry. You have to go for progress, not perfection when you are trying to catch up. She’s doing good.

My shop gave a customer a discount on a very reasonably priced swung vase without my approval. It was in my booth less than one week but the customer told them she’d been “eyeing it for a month”. I told them to call me in the future for anyone asking for a discount when there’s no sale advertised.
I would move that grey cubbie cabinet over to the wall and then organize all of your lamps on top so they are up off the floor. Then start processing the stuff on the floor in the middle and then move the desk over there. Then I would put the comic books in the grey cabinet to get them up off the floor to clean up that area.
You are doing a good job with the shop, it's looking like you can walk around a lot better than before. And, yes, you do have a floor.
Take the desk to the antique mall. Put It beside the other desk to display you items. Sell the desk at the mall.

It would take about 20 minutes to restring the bracelet and put on a new clasp. People that make jewelry usually have a selection of clasp already.
For the mushrooms issue, you could put two little flat L hooks underneath and set them on that on the peg board. That is similar to the way art is displayed in stores. Then you don't need to fool with extra work on artwork.
You just bought 5 cabinets at Bedford. Move one into the booth where the green bookcase is and move either the green bookcase or the brown bookcase (whichever is steadiest) over to where the blanket chest is and bring home the blanket chest. The taller case from upstairs should hold more.

Have you thought about renting another booth at Bedford? You always seem to have plenty of inventory but never enough booth space. You could even put that gray cabinet in the extra booth (you showed in this video and moved around). As much as your mom likes decorating your booth now, she may really enjoy doing another one. She is so good at making it look nice as well. Just a thought…which as business minded as you are I am sure you have your reasons for doing what you do when you do it or not doing something at all. If the fall tray or the butterfly sewing box doesn’t sell in your booth, please offer it online. If I lived closer to Pennsylvania, you would have plenty of room to spare in your booth because I would be there buying all of the pottery and glass treasures I could find! 😂

I also have a reaction with jewelry that isn’t precious metals, FYI…when I have a piece that I really love I use clear nail polish on the parts touching my skin, it might work on your bracelet. ☺️ Great shop clean-up!
why wouldn't you keep the desk as a display piece for the store? It would make wonderful bones for a display point, are you planning all cases for the store portion? or more the boutique style? I love watching this phase progress!

Jewelers usually will re-do your bracelet with precious metal.
If you love the bracelet, restring it with cord or something like it? It would be easy to do and then you can make it adjustable by trying a knot on both ends by the opposite string. Or….have your daughter look up how to do that on UA-cam and see if she can do it, if you are too zapped for time. No reason to get rid of it, if you love it:)

Look at the amazing amount of space once desk gone. Fingers crossed it sells fas. If you stand the desk on end will be less space needed to move. Cube cabinet May feel move spacious if pained white or at least a lighter color.
Try using speaker wire or string /cooking twine as hanging wire as temp use to help “hang item “ or possible small zip ties to create a hoop for picture hanger hooks
I'd have someone that works with silver redo the bracelet. It is very pretty.

I work retail and when you have problems with jewelry it's usually that you have a nickel allergy you just need hypoallergenic jewelry if you're not going to use precious metal love you guys❤

Life goes by fast enough. WHY do stores and such have to rush the years along? How about we get into a season a bit before we start a new one. I went looking for a pair of shorts the other day and they were already putting out fall clothing, it is sill 29C here.

Have you thought about post it page markers in different colors to put on pieces as your sorting things. A color for booth, ebay and whatnot. It could be a start to organizing for you store opening. The notes will not leave resdue that would have to be washed off. It's a thought.

As explained in a recent video, they are now looking for another storefront with better customer access/parking and will continue to use this location for warehousing and on-line operations.

I have a suggestion for you why don’t you tape off the floor with different colors of tape for different areas. Yellow for the booth blue for what not maybe Red for Ebay? And you can set your boxes in there and you will know what items are going where you need them. Maybe it would help just a suggestion
When Jocelyn brings back her shopping it's all mixed together in the same box. Shelby is the one prossesing the items and she doesn't know on what platform things are being sold🤷♀️
