I love the kindred vs trynda scene although it seems random at first, i think the scene is very well thought out. In game when he ult he literally fights desth with all his power. Every time tryndamere ults, he battles with death. Awesome cinematic
He is not realy fighting death. He got power from aatrox, so he is immortal. This is also why kindred was curios. Because usually she comes and collects the peoples life in there head. But Tryndas refuses to die cus of his immortallity. This is something new for kindred. The whole fight with kindred was only in trynda's head. In realty he fought against his enemys, where ashe hit the last 2
3:28 you can see there's no claw marks on trynda's armor but in 4:04 wolf's claws made a mark on his armor which means the encounter was real. probably happened in spirit realm
I think the damage is from the enemy warriors we see closing around him earlier. From Tryndamere's POV, he's fighting death itself but in reality he's fighting multiple normal people. Then when Ashe comes in, Kindred leaves because Tryndamere is no longer close to death, and they are replaced with normal enemies in his sight once again.
Necrit did a nice video where he pointed out that when trynda was lying on the ground there where multiple enemys, later ashe shot two, but there where no enemys left. Which also shows that trynda was fighting normal human, while fighting kindred in his head. The marks on his armor are very likely from this fight witht he humans
Yasuo didn't draw blood on purpose, he sheathed his sword in wind to make it blunt, and only knocked them out. Even the tornado he sent at the bandit leader, he did it to knock him away from the incoming arrow volley
Makes it so badass to know that tryndamere was able to survive Kindred and even fight him off for the duration of his "Undying Rage" long enough for ashe to save him from certain death, a bit longer and he would have met his fate
last time Tryn was in a season cinematic was like 10 years ago they still on a stylized cartoon-ish cinematic back then so technically this is the first time we ever saw him on a more photo-realistic style but yes we did saw them I guess
The whole Cinematic is based around Kindred (Lamb and Wolf). In the World of Runeterra, Kindred is essentially the grim reaper. She collects those in death. there are signs of Kindred in all 3 scenes. the Scenes are broken up into Past, Future, and Present. In the Past, Two Demi-Angels, Kayle and Morgana Defended and dealt justice in a Land that would eventually become known as Demacia. The Scene Depicts an area under siege by the Darkin Aatroxx. Darkin were originally ascendant beings but they were driven mad by the void in a war long ago. Kayle and Morgana are sisters, their Mother is an angel, and they both hold 1 half of their mother's sword. They defeat Aatrox. In the lore, Kayle is stoic and brings justice in a very cold and unemotional way, while Morgana is more affected by the plight of humans and reasons that judgement and justice can be tempered. In the scene Morgana drops her mothers weapon and taps into darker powers to fight Aatrox, you can see the disdain Kayle has for Morgana in the quick glance she gives her, even as she takes up both halves of her mothers sword and causes the firestorm. if you look closely, there is an afterimage in the fire that is Kindred. Then you go to the Future, in Ionia, where we are greeted by an Old man version of Yasuo. After he uses his whirlwind, you see many arrows in the sky coming for Yasuo, including a bright one, which appears to hit him, this is the Arrow of Kindred, claiming Yasuo. if you look in the sky, you can also see the apparent shape of a wolfs head. in the last scene, which would be considered the Present, in Frejord, you see Tryndamere, who has the power to avoid death by tapping into his rage via blood magic. He is married to Ashe, a Frostborn Tribal Leader. In the scene, Trendamere is fighting death (literally) by fighting against Kindred (the Lamb and the Wolf). Tryndamere power in game is literally to become un-killable for a short period of time. As the fight goes on, Kindred lets her bow go because Ashe has arrived, and saves Tryndamere. It's not his time to die.
@@gavinrock6 In the old lore, back when summoners were canon and the Institute of War existed, Kayle tore up Morganas wings because Morgana's magic was 'dark', but she didn't actually do anything evil. Kayle was tyrannical in her pursuit of righteousness and Morgana came to Runeterra to try and build a following to fight against her. Kayle came down to stop her, and they ended up at the Institute of War who, as the did with every other faction on the planet, worked as mediators between them. The lore rework added more depth to things between them, but Riot has always played with the 'one looks evil but is actually good and vice versa' thing for them.
Dude why the fuck does everyone think first that it's Jax, I instantly knew it's Yas. Why are people so instantly fixated on the weapon giving them the anwser.
So Kindred was the voice in the beginning, and at the end when the song said "I'm still here" pertaining that she will never leave until she claims Tryndamere him. This is Kindreds cinematic all along
The best part is that yasuo doubts picking a sword, thats why knocks them out using the wind, and pushes the last guy away from the arrows when he himself accepts death even tho he can save himself using ww.
Kindred is considered the strongest character of all in the lore because Kindred is literally death. So yeah, Kindred was def stronger than Tryndamere lol
@@itsgonnabeokay9341 Kindred is representative of the essences of death. Confirmed to be that which all mortals must one day meet. By that logic it's safe to assume she is by default the "strongest" character. But if you want a "who" considers this as a reference, check out Necrit's tier list for power scaling of all champs. Kindred was #1 and Sol was #2.
@@KazeraX Check Necrits criteria for that tier list first. Also, it was before they changed Kindred in LoR. She a spirit god, like Ornn or Volibear, which means that she relies on her believers.
@@itsgonnabeokay9341 That criteria and the spirit god change doesn't really affect Necrit's placement by much. Kindred has followers in almost every Runeterra culture and therefore far more than the other spirit gods, so their placement on his tier list should therefore still be very high. Let's assume for a sec that they're more like the top 2 in comparison to Sol since Sol could basically just wipe out Kindred's worshippers easily, they'd still be a more enduring entity of Runeterra than the rest of the list as Runeterra's grim reaper. Necrit's justification for placing Kindred at #1 was the idea that Sol could one day die but Kindred was eternal -- with Kindred being scaled back by the spirit god thing it's more likely that Sol is #1, I'll give you that. Still seems to me to be an easy #2 though. A seemingly unkillable entity that appears and disappears at will whenever or whereever they want, claiming the dying and even messing with the living for fun to the point of senseless murder (like in the short stories).
''Before Morgana turned evil'' , nah Morgana was never evil. But Kayle couldn't understand that and literally abondoned her and cut her wings for legit no reason.
yeah but ingame no kindred would walk up to a full health trym. We'd do exactly what we see here, try to jump a low trym, he stalls with his ult long enough for backup to arrive.
Kindread basically being the grim reaper and claiming trox and yas no problems but rolling up to undying rage trynd is pretty bad ass. Also lamb was loving it, she was just sitting back watching.
No , Kindred knew it's not his time to die yet . as you can see , she tilts her head confused , as he broke the arrow that was meant to bring his death . that's how she knew it will be a pass for him this time and lowered her arrow , keeping it for another time
"not showing any blood or decapitations" then go watch the breakdown. he doesn't kill anyone and is reluctant to use the wind until he has too. I also missed that detail at first. he's not trying to hurt them
If you look closely, you can see yasuo doesnt actually touch anyone with the sword. He's solely using wind techniques to manipulate his opponents. Which goes to show the YEARS of training and the skill he has managed to build over his lifetime. Not inflicting harm to his opponents, but instead, masterfully showing them why they dont want to mess with him. Which is INFINITELY more terrifying.
People saying "Kayle is actually the evil one" have not personally read any of the lore themselves. Neither are evil. In fact you would be most accurate to label Kayle as lawful good.
for those who dont know yes its yasuo. kindred once told yasuo that in the future he would put down his blade but one day pick it back up to defend people one last time. also that is why theres no blood. hes not slicing them, he is hitting them with wind thats on the blade. also why he hits the last guy cause hes moving him out of the way of the rain of arrows. thanks necrit for this.
The reason no blood or chopped limbs happened during yasuos fight is because hes old he has turned from his life of hurting and killing with his wind powers. At the start he didnt even want to use them, once he realised he has to he did he best to just knock them out without hurting anyone.
the video is in his youtube homepage . lower left side. and then he searches league cinematic. theres nothing wrong with that. BUT ICANT I KDSDFH IM GONNA GO INSANE IWANT HIM TO HAVE KNOWN AT THAT MOMENT I WANT HIM TO SAY"OH NVM ITS RIGHT HERE" MID-TYPING
From what I understood. He is fighting death itself. If you watch his shoulder guard at the start, it's undamaged but at one point, wolf bites him and you can see the marks on it when Ashe saves him. While it's represented as if he is fighting the barbarians (could be wrinters claw idk) he was indeed fighting the Kindred. The lamb lowers the bow as he is saved. It's a mix of both. Whenever he is fighting, he sees them and they can't take him. Not yet.
@ChesterZirawin i think its more of a methaphore that he is fighting kindread. He cant win vs her its impossible. If she wants him dead she will take his life. Fighting the barbarians is a better explanation.
He refuse to death, that's why the wolf mauled him, look at old yasuo, he accept death so lamb arrow hit him and wolf just watching Tryn scene is just a metaphor of him fighting those random guys and refuse to death till ashe come and lamb decided is not his time yet
Yasuo was literally not slicing them with his sword. Watch that back a bit slower and closer. He was using the wind to hit them and doing so in a way to knock them down and out. Not cut or kill. He literally uses his ultimate to push the last guy out of the kill zone of the rain of arrows incoming.
lore kindred is literal representation of death so since everyone meets their end at some point one way or another, everyone will lose to kindred eventually, that includes even beings like aurelion sol, something that i thought impossible but confirmed by riot themselves so.....gj trynd for surviving another day i guess
In the lore Tryndamere is like a hard counter to Kindred. Bro is literally too angry to die, so as long as Trynda doesn't die Kindred can't get him. I don't know what happend if he actually, like, "beats" kindred by cutting Lamb in two or something, they probably wouldn't die either. But Tryndamere is one of the few champs that Kindred can't get in the lore. They can probably only get him when he dies of old age, unless hes too angry to die of old age too. Immortal Tryndamere.
I believe yasuo is not actually killing any of those guys. Thats why there's no blood (on top of the obvious reason). He's a changed man when hes older I guess. he also seems to push the last guy out of the way of the arrows with the nado.
Morg's "fall" is subjective, in Kayle's view and the others she fell, but for Morg she chose to live with humanity rather than above it. She gave up flight, one reason why lore has her "chaining" others down, IMO. It's kind of similar to D3 Tyreal in a way, he saw humanity as a beacon of hope and chose to cast his wings and standing as an immortal aside to live side by side with humanity. Neither Morg, nor Tyreal, believed the "truth" told them was the right path forward, and as a consequence they're looked upon as traitors.

Yasuo wasnt killing people because riot wanted to hold out on gore, its because his whole life hes been trying to atone for the death of his master and turn into a better person. Hes knocking them out with the wind to show mercy and his own personal growth
This is why I still freaking love League since s2 😭
The fact that doubelift is among the oldest still relevant in terms of competitive league players that can respect the lore behind character is so so sick.
Mad respect to them and all they've done for the competitive scene in the early seasons and years, love to see them in my recommended.
Even the tornado he sent at the bandit leader, he did it to knock him away from the incoming arrow volley
not knowing Aatrox can fly when he has wings and he flies in his R is CRAZY lmao
morgana wasn't evil she chose to save humanity it was kayle who became evil because she was blinded by power
It's now canon to me that every time Tryndamere ults he has to fight off Lamb and Wolf in his mind.
Makes it so badass to know that tryndamere was able to survive Kindred and even fight him off for the duration of his "Undying Rage" long enough for ashe to save him from certain death, a bit longer and he would have met his fate
"before morgana turn evil" ohehwkdrjwifwkkak probably didn't read their lore
You say we never saw Trynd and Ashe in prev cinematics?? xD
Trynd was in one, and Ashe in at least 2 before this, but she looks good in that one!
last time Tryn was in a season cinematic was like 10 years ago they still on a stylized cartoon-ish cinematic back then
so technically this is the first time we ever saw him on a more photo-realistic style
but yes we did saw them I guess
@@BeeLightning how about that one trailer where Tryn went up against Baron and Annie. That was 10 years ago?
morgana never turned 'evil'
Peter don't know shit about League lore lmao
gamer brain
It hurts how people thinks Morgana is the evil one when the evil is Kayle
tbh most think that cuz she got dark colour of powers xD
Neither is evil
petter is low key clueless XD
@@beckhampang191Kayle is racist, she hate mages because magic is "bad", she even lend Garen her sword to use (his ult)
Is how religion works pretty much xd, if is holy is unquestionable😅
0:50 morgana never "turned evil", but the two sisters did split ways. they talk about it in the game "The Mage Seeker"
The trynd and kindred part is nuts and the music is fire
Kayles face when Morgana used ulti: Report my support! Used dark magic.
why do everyone still thinks Morgana turned evil, didn't they change that lore a long ago?
In what point of the story was Morgana evil.....i keep hearing this in every reaction i see hahaha
at the start probably, when noone cared about actual story, and usually the one with dark powers is the evil one lmao
Pretty sure her old lore was Evil, or maybe not. I honestly can't remember it, but she WAS named after Morgan la Fay lol
@@gavinrock6morgan le fey wasn't even fully evil. Eventually she mellowed out and was one of the fairies that ferried Arthur to avalon to be healed
Morgana is better than kayle
Death (Kindred) is always present even in the future
Morg is not evil. Her sister is the evil one
aatroc flies in his ult😭
Dude why the fuck does everyone think first that it's Jax, I instantly knew it's Yas. Why are people so instantly fixated on the weapon giving them the anwser.
Tbf he look like one of Jax skin
@@CocytusCrowley no it does not
Old yas grew with wisdom, now he looks so much like Battousai - doesnt kill, just a calm and reasonable person.
The absolute BEST part of all this is that 1 second of side eye of disgust Kayle gave to Morgana !!!!!!
Did people notice that falling snowflakes on Tryndam is an Ashe skill?
So Kindred was the voice in the beginning, and at the end when the song said "I'm still here" pertaining that she will never leave until she claims Tryndamere him. This is Kindreds cinematic all along
Yasuo not killing anyone is probably a reference to the conversation he had with Yone in Ionia.
"I am not a murderer"
In the lore kindred is a god of death, they dissapiered because he was saved.
The best part is that yasuo doubts picking a sword, thats why knocks them out using the wind, and pushes the last guy away from the arrows when he himself accepts death even tho he can save himself using ww.
Undying vs death
That's def Morgana. She hit Aatrox with the shackles.
"Riot's Cinematics always hit" I'm glad we all forgot about the 2023 one.
Ashe is trying to see the sun with that hawkshot.
You're right. In the lore, The Concept Of The Inevitability Of Death is stronger than One Dude. :D
Kindred is considered the strongest character of all in the lore because Kindred is literally death. So yeah, Kindred was def stronger than Tryndamere lol
Considered by whom? Also, she is a spirit god.
@@KazeraX I would still put her below the celestials and Zoe.
2:55 i think its because he is holding himself back not to hurt anyone seriously
my man Yas is the only one fighting minions over here and takes an L after .. bro takes those for the team ! 😄
''Before Morgana turned evil'' , nah Morgana was never evil. But Kayle couldn't understand that and literally abondoned her and cut her wings for legit no reason.
The scene transitions in this are amazing
yeah but ingame no kindred would walk up to a full health trym.
BEFORE MORGANA TURNED EVIL? JESUS CHRIST IM SO ANGRY RN
"Tomorrow is a hope, never a promise." Kindred
Aatrox, the one who cannot die.
Yasuo, the one who accepts death.
Tryndamere, the one who defies death.
his undying rage was about to ran out, he was going to die, but Kindred notice Ash arrow and lower her bow
DL really be forgetting Aatrox used to have a literal kamikaze move in his old kit
I would love for wolf to be this big and burly, at least during W. He keeps talking about his ferocity but he's just this tiny little head floating
morgana never turned evil
Him pausing Lucian's culling right before the Thresh hook is repressed trauma
I wonder if tryna just THOUGHT he was fighting kindred or what the lore behind it is
that's the ways Tryndamere fight against death. Tryn can't see Kindred though
Probably when he's alwaying using his ult since he's pretty much defying death ?
He refuse to death, that's why the wolf mauled him, look at old yasuo, he accept death so lamb arrow hit him and wolf just watching
Tryn scene is just a metaphor of him fighting those random guys and refuse to death till ashe come and lamb decided is not his time yet
Kindred can't really kill Tryn because of undying rage. That's why lamb tilted her head in confusion
Yasuo chose not to kill them and used wind to incapacitate them, he had long given up his wind and sword
As a fan living overseas, it's been a while since I saw Double Lift, and he looks good😄
imagine a pro player could not recognized that was yasuo until he using the windwall, though Riot gave us d glimpse of his scar in his face
Yas isn't slicing anyone. He's using the wind to knock them down because he's sworn off killing.
I was hoping Yas was gonna be Yi. I don't think Master Yi has been in a cinematic yet if not at least for awhile.
Sooo Tryndamere ult is whenever he nears death, he entered gulag with kindred. Nice
Peter to Yasuo : Random good person🥲
lore kindred is literal representation of death so since everyone meets their end at some point one way or another, everyone will lose to kindred eventually, that includes even beings like aurelion sol, something that i thought impossible but confirmed by riot themselves so.....gj trynd for surviving another day i guess
the trynd fighting off kinderd or death itself was best part, did kinderd lore accurate.
Tryndamere has been seen in a cinematic already! I’m forever waiting for leblanc 😭
Kindred is literally the concept of death in league lore so impossible to kill for anyone especially trynd
hes just too angry to die but kindred gets everyone in the end
im so shocked when league pro players or players dont know the champions man :))))))
Morgana never turned evil -.-
please do a reaction video of necrits lore explained behind this cinematic
dayum that was actually so dam pog
Correction: Morgana was NEVER evil.
3:00 It's not about keeping PG
He's purposefully not killing them because he abandoned they way of killing
I believe yasuo is not actually killing any of those guys. Thats why there's no blood (on top of the obvious reason). He's a changed man when hes older I guess. he also seems to push the last guy out of the way of the arrows with the nado.
How did he not know its morgana the entire cinematic long
yasuo was not slicing them he was knocking them off with his wind cuz he doesnt want to shed any blood anymore
We actually see Ashe a lot just normally she is in a worlds cinematic not in pre season.
They gotta make a full damn movie frrrrr
so kayle morg tryna kindread ashe attrox morgana buffs coming?
I feel like outta all the league peoples reactions I watched you were the only one to get all the characters lol. Lots of people didn't get morgana. You should check out necrits breakdown if you care about lore at all.
HE LITTERALY FLOWS ON THE GROWN IN GAME WHEN HE ULTS
