    In The Gravel Yard is one of my favourite songs of ALL TIME of ANY genre. Eli... PLEEEAAASE do a lesson on that one!!

    I've found that flicking up the likelihood of hitting another string is a lot lower, and that I'm also able to recover to the next note a lot faster.
    I was first taught to flick down, but eventually switched to the other direction and it's been a lot better for me.

    hi thanks for the lessons i think i'll go on with the ther after these 30. a question:when you do the pull up i see that u use on the left hand the medium finger and then again the medium at the third chrome. oh the third chrome can i use the index, how you've chosem the finger at the left? do you advice to make exercise with all the fingers of the left hand pulling up the notes?

    Eli - I happened to notice in the tab for the pulloff you're indicating I for the third string on beat 3 but in the video you're using your thumb. Are they interchangeable?

      Good catch! As an intermediate player, I would say that it kind of depends on what comes after, but yes, in this case generally they would be interchangeable. For me it's actually more natural to play that one with thumb, and apparently for Eli too.
