Steps to Make Google Chrome Default Browser:
1. Click the Windows start button, then select the settings icon or search for "Settings" in the start menu search box.
2. Within the Settings window, click on "Apps" located in the left panel.
3. Click on "Default Apps" to view options for setting default applications.
4. In the "Set defaults for applications" search box, type "Chrome" and select Google Chrome when it appears.
5. Click the "Set default" option next to Google Chrome to make it your default browser.
6. Open Google Chrome, go to settings (three vertical dots, Settings), search for "default browser" within Chrome settings to confirm that Chrome is set as the default browser.
