It's a matter of taste, of course, but I love these ethnic songs from Ukraine, simply because they sound so different, Heart of Steel could theoretically come from any country.
@@byJannik I love ethnic songs as well, modern+ethnic is one of my fav types of the songs on ESC. But Ukraine represented its culture many times in different ways, so in order to bring diversity sometimes it's cool to just send a nice modern sound. I guess a lot of people would be bored to hear folktronica or folk rap like Shum or Stefania again. It's better to hear something like this from another country this year like Soarele si luna, which I like a lot. And I’m definitely not against a good ethnic song, maybe a ballad from my country next year ;)
