Very nice and easy to follow explanation! I have one question though: why does IPv6-DNS-server needs to contact IPv4-DNS-server? Can't IPv6-DNS-server just report both AAAA and A records? Also the other way round: if I query IPv4-DNS-server, it will return A and AAAA records.
Sir i have a doubt. Why in the destination ipv6 prefix didn't start from 64 but start as 2001 Edit:I saw your other video and understood 2001 is default for the next 9 million years hehe
what is the source address in the translated ipv4 packet?? you didnt tell this. half information. not sufficient to give a clear picture of the process.
Open source is free denoting software for which the original source code is made freely available and may be redistributed and modified. Free software is wider including open source, but many free software programs will not make their source code free available for the public. For most free software, you can use them without charge but source original code is not given to you.
I love this clear and easy to follow explanation for how end points between IPv6 and IPv4 networks can communicate! Thanks for sharing =)
