I remember watching "Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer" in Spanish while on vacation in Cancun during February of 1997.
I'm too old for childhood memories of Rainbow Brite, but I've always loved the art style. As soon as I saw you haul this doll, I had to run out and grab her! One of the cutest dolls ever! I was really excited to watch you open yours!
I recommend buying in person if you can because some have messy bangs.
The surprise items do vary. The comb and sprite bag are always the same. The lunch box comes in either red, yellow, or blue (I got red). The fourth item is either the skirt, a headband, or rainbow leg warmers with red plastic sandals. I got the sandals and legwarmers, which is what I most wanted.

I had a Twink and Rainbow Bright with a carry case that was fabric with snaps that opened into a play seen. I will I still had it.

I loved Rainbow Brite so much. The funny thing was later in elementary school I had the hardest time learning to spell "bright" and "light" correctly as I learned the spelling incorrectly from so much exposure to the cutesy spelling haha. My favorite book was "rainbow brite and the brook meadow dear" and whenever my parents tried to skip ahead I would stop them because I basically had the whole thing memorized. Such good memories, I really want to find that book again now!
I love rainbow bright and I also love strawberry shortcake, but I think for the price point that they’re selling it for at Walmart maybe instead of paying like 12 and some change maybe nine dollars I still have all my original strawberry shortcake and all my original rainbow bright in the basement and I started collecting the ones from 5 Below as well but I think overall she’s cute. I had a lunch box a tin one and it’s definitely a throwback and that’s how I knew. My childhood was good as long as I had rainbow and strawberry shortcake in it this day, my strawberry shortcake dolls still smell after 40 years so it’s awesome. It’s cute

The Rainbow Bright doll was a doll with a long history.
Nevertheless, it's comparable to dolls these days.

I didn't have the rainbow Brite doll but in the late 1980s I had the dark blue sprite I don't remember his name .
There was also Twink like you said,a red boy one also two girls a pink and purple .
After browsing wikipedia, it looks like there were 8 sprites total: Twink, Romeo, OJ, Spark, Lucky, Champ, Hammy, and IQ. I think your dark blue one is Hammy💖
