I saw uberjam last saturday (with the amazing DC on drums) and i have to say that Andy and Avi in relation don't get enough praise. They are no less than phenomemal and groove like crazy. This is just such a ridicolously groovy group i can't even describe it. The best of all worlds. I was front row right in front of Sco and wil never forget it.
Thanks for sharing this great performance. Some of the funkiest guitar playing around youtube. Avi Bortnick's feel for syncopated rhythms is phenomenal! His right and left hand's are SO synced up it's sick! lol The whole band is slidin' into the beat big time! :0)

I was planning to see this concert and was really looking forward to it, I am glad it's available here, great stuff! The reason I missed it is that a few days before this, we adopted our son. That's a good excuse, isn't it?
Louis Cato...yes he is insane...Miles told Sco the foundation of a great band is the drummer. He has had some great ones; Dennis Chambers,Bill Stewart, etc....
This is a really good quality video, thanks so much for uploading it Kvetoslav. It's unusual to see Sco playing a Telecaster rather than his standard Ibanez semi, but his style and sound is unmistakeable. There are very few guitarists that could sustain really interesting solo improvisations for such long periods over such a repetitive funk styled backing, but Scofield is certainly up to it.
One of my all time favorite Scofield albums. I didn't know this gem existed. Thank u for sharing.
Jaja finalmente todos terminana tocando una Telecaster, Bonamassa tambien,
el sonido esta en los dedos no existe otro secreto Un genio John

One fret away is the furthest off you can be LOL. Scofield is so awesome it sounds like, "Aw, well, you know what I mean..."
Jet Lag make you do strange unpredictable things!

The very beginning beat sounds like radiohead's "idioteque" but then it changes radically.

Where is his gibson E-335?
His guitar, (Ibanes AS 200) was lost on a flight. Greetings from Brazil.
Actually his signature guitar is an Ibanez, but obviously he's not playing it here.
