I can't believe I've been living without LSP all this time, I previously Googled for packages that did this sort of thing and landed with a bunch of useless (actually annoying) other ones. Thank you!
Is it possible to set up sublime text to recognize old PHP syntaxes? I have this old project that runs on PHP 5.6.40 and currently, the syntaxes of this version are not recognized in vs code and indicate that the syntaxes are deprecated.

Clear straight forward explanation. Thanks.
Is this a more professional alternative to vs code?
It's an alternative, I don't know if it's more professional. I do know a lot of php programmers who use Phpstorm.
Can't say about professional, but yeah, its more light weight alternative.
