    Yeah, I echo your penchant for the dielectric grease. I am a huge fan of it on literally every connection, enclosed or exposed to the elements. Makes any subsequent removal much easier plus the added anti-corrosion benefit.
    Nice lights. Makes the Ranger look modern.

    Which brand are these ones? How are they holding up a year later?

    Hey I just bought these, how do they adjust? Mine are way too low and I can’t figure out how to adjust them upward, thanks merry Christmas!

    • @RangerShop1

      They are the best lights I’ve owned! No moisture or yellowing! 👌
      The worst part is you really need to pull them out adjust it a bit higher and clip them back it. They don’t have the adjustment access able outside the light. Once I get my straight axles in I will probably need to adjust them I’ll see if I can post a short how I do it…. Either way it’s a real pain to adjust

    Did you have trouble with it being able to be secured with the clips? I got these for my 01 ranger and it didn’t secure too well

    • @RangerShop1

      At first it was very tough but I got them to click once I got all the wires from behind the light out of the way. It’s definitely tight but I got both clips on both sides.

    I’m looking into getting these lights and changing the drl to amber and maybe adding sequiential turn signals. How are the lights bonded together? Glue? Ultrasonic welds? Permanent seal or are they able to be heated up and taken apart?

    • @RangerShop1
      @RangerShop1  Рік тому

      I’m really not sure but they are really well sealed up. Unlike my other aftermarket lights no water or moisture has gotten in. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

    Hello sir pls explain how you installed the led thing for the tail lights? Also how do I adjust these for better visibility? Mine came aiming at the ground?

    • @RangerShop1
      @RangerShop1  Рік тому

      The Ballast I just zip tied tight to the wiring no problems so far.
      Setting the headlight is a bit of a pain, you need to remove them each time you change adjustments. I pace out the distance and use my shop door then adjust them till close. Mine seems to be good. Make sure your curb height is set in your truck also. Because the lights won’t compensate for a nose down rake. Hope that helps a bit…. Still love the lights not a drop of moisture in them and they are 👌

    So overall thoughts? How about the operation, do they “see” better than that crap that’s in it before? How’s is fitment? Like stock or loose?

    • @RangerShop1
      @RangerShop1  Рік тому

      Definitely better then stock. Much brighter and way cooler! Way better then any other aftermarket lights I’ve bought, nice thick plastic, good quality plastic with nice sockets and wires. The fit is as nice as stock and so far no moisture or leaks
      Highly recommend them!

    Hey man great video! Can you explain the ballast you installed for the tail lights? Is that needed for the front and rear lights to have the led run all the time? Appreciated!

    • @RangerShop1
      @RangerShop1  2 роки тому

      It came with the ballast all prewired in. I think your right it’s for the LEDs to work. Beyond that I’m not really sure.

    • @cleverkilla2138
      @cleverkilla2138 9 місяців тому

      I saw the ballast was connected to the tail light but what was it connected to on the other side? Just like did you just stick it up there only hooked up to the tail light or is it getting power from somewhere through the ballast and into the light…

    You spent more time showing the packaging than the actual install or worse, the working lights. How about at night? Headlights, high beam..? Signals? Backup?
    I blinked and suddenly it was over. I thought it was going to another commercial or it glitched.. like, you just stopped!
    That was abrupt, my man!

    Did the front lights require ballast as well? And if so did they come with them?

    • @RangerShop1
      @RangerShop1  Рік тому +1

      They have a built in ballast for the led lights but the main headlights are just your normal bulbs they aren’t led…. It was what I wanted.

    • @dokuganryu44
      @dokuganryu44 Рік тому

      @@RangerShop1 thank you. So if I were to put LED bulbs in the main headlight slot as well, I’d need to install a ballast?

    • @RangerShop1
      @RangerShop1  Рік тому +1

      @@dokuganryu44 yes then you would need a bulb with a built in ballast. Honestly though they work great just the way they are. Get yourself an awesome light bar when you want to light up the night other then that these work great just the way they are.
