Guy hasn’t paid in so long he forgot how much his mortgage was 😂
Came to say this. lol!!
I'm also a veteran and unfortunately I sense this guy is scamming the system

I don’t sense...I know this guy is scamming the system.
😂😂
Damn shame lol
This dudes a deadbeat. Lived in his house for 3 years not paying his mortgage. The fact they haven't forclosed on him yet is insane.
I LOVE our servicemen and women but serving softens the hearts of all blindly some take advantage of that some deserve that respect and a break...No one knows what side hes on from this short conversation but Im not sure why he hesitated when Dave asked what the nature of his disability was thats sort of a red flag to me...
Covid guidelines.
He's not special or alone in this with major payments being re-invoked.
@@cutlerylover I can almost GUARANTEE that the reason he is on disability is because of sleep apnea or tinnitus. He most likely served for a few years stateside, doing nothing, never deployed, yet somehow managed to get 100% disability. He couldn't say the actual reason to Dave because he was atleast cognizant enough to realize how ridiculous it would've sounded to the hosts. If he was 100% disabled because of, lets say a wartime injury or something that happened while deployed in a warzone, he would've said so immediately without hesitation.
If I’m a betting man, this guy and his wife both have new Cadillacs in the driveway.
Forget the dang Caddy, Hellcat I say.😊
I’m guessing it’s fully loaded King Ranch.
Wife probably has a Tesla. Smh.
or range rover.
Support Cadillacs.
Wow. Makes $200,000 and refuses to pay his bills. Not all vets are heroes. This is a prime example of one who isn't a hero.
Seems like he just started working again. He did say he would be able to make the new catch up payment plan the mortgage co. had set out to him but wanted Dave's opinion on selling. Anyone with that high income is paying a ton in taxes, they don't bring home nearly as much as 200k. Still they have a great income. Don't be so quick to judge.
@@rnt45t1 That was a revolting thing to say.

He’s not being honest - they just didn’t pay their bills.
Way too much delay in his answers to simple questions. Takes time not to tell the truth.
I thought the same thing! This guy's full of crap and probably lost his job due to covid and didn't want to admit he's been unemployed for 3 years
Exactly because he could get away with it. SMH.
There is absolutely no remorse from this guy.
I agree!!
What a deadbeat.
$200k income per year. They can pay they just choose not to.
You missed some info
@@teebone2157what info? Being a disabled veteran doesn’t mean you just choose not to pay your mortgage. $200,000 annually!!
He said he's100% VA disabled. What is he spening his VA disability payments on. If his wife works, I don't understand why they are behind 3 years. --They were irresponsible adults and just didn't pay🙃
Because they know they could get away without paying. No way are they going to kick a disabled veteran out of his house, especially during Covid. 🙄
I knew it!! I knew he was lying about something.
@@2jcward There are lots of disabled vets who have been kicked out.
Check the rate of homelessness among vets over the years.
@@steelcastle5616 I live in DC and most vets that are homeless is due to untreated mental illness. Not because of lack of housing or being kicked out of their home. I know first hand.
@@steelcastle5616homeless veterans that never purchased a home versus the service members relief act that protects veterans from high interest rates that have a mortgage and student loans are two different concepts.

Yes, our veterans do not get treated well at all.
I would have thought veterans get all expenses paid living and food once they returned. If the U.S. cannot afford that, then how are we even allowed to be a top country?
💯
I blame YOU for not doing better
We need to have mandatory draft. The quality of person is so low compared to 90s. People on VA disability for diabetes and sleep apnea
@@wewhoareabouttodiesaluteyo9303 no one does that that is what a lazy child thinks. Are bets get treated great they just aren’t losers to start. You take the worst of society and wonder why they aren’t amazing when they finish serving lol
Hes probably faking his disability if they are bringing home $200,000 and not paying their mortgage. Hot damn this caller pissed me off!!
Even if his disability isn't a scam, he's still a lousy deadbeat with a $200,000 income. His service and disability doesn't give him a pass ref integrity.
The second he said $200k income I just rolled my eyes. That's a personal problem, not a disability problem.
Three years rent free. You must be rich now!
Hah. Doubtful.
Unlikely most likely spent it elsewhere...
I can’t believe Dave doesn’t tell these people off. If he was unemployed during Covid time, he was getting a hell of a lot of money for those unemployment checks. No excuses. He should not be three years behind. 🤬🤬🤬
Hey, I lost my job at first lockdown. Spouse got a small temporary raise. Still we paid all our bills.. including mortgage on time anyway. Then second lockdown I found a much better paying job!
AND we finished getting completely out of all debt except the mortgage.
It CAN be done..they chose not to!
And our 30 yr mortgage will be paid off before the 10 yr mark, not even10 years.
It can be done, they chose not to!
Best to all
😂
Ken’s face when he says 200k income 😂
I never made 200k a year. My income wasn't overly great. However in all my years of being a mortage holder. I never missed one payment or been late. The guys a scammer.
Bro I’m a vet at 100% too…you are telling me you are 100 % getting a VA paycheck. Yet you are telling me you and your wife stopped working for 3 years with no other income? I call bullshit
Something's definitely not right with his story.
I’m 100% to. I just got My first job after the military after 4 months but I’ll tell you all My bills were paid during that time. Now they’re really going to get paid and investments accounts will be funded
200k and not paying the mortgage?
This guy is full of excuses. He just didn't want to pay his mortgage. There's no excuse for this now making over 200k
Well then he will have to sell the house and start fresh again.
Wait.. so did he just say he had a $200k income?? Yet can't afford his house??
100% VA disability rating gives him over $4K each month. No reason he couldn't have made at least some payments in three years.

3 years. The guy even forgot what his monthly payment was. Guy should have been thrown out 3 years ago. There is no excuse to be that far behind. Who gives this guy a 200k a year job now?
His household income is $200k, him and his wife combined
My grandfather - God rest his soul - was career military and fought in Korea and Vietnam. He more than qualified for VA disability but refused on the principle that he could function alright and the "other vets deserve/need it more than he does." So it really grinds my gears when I suspect a vet is taking advantage of the system. He was slow to answer the questions, and when he did they were simple and evasive which tells me he is lying, and between the VA payments and his wife working, they were more than capable of paying their mortgage. JACK IN BALTIMORE, IF HOPE YOU SEE THIS -- SHAME ON YOU!
he took advantage of covid and saved him 70k in house payments. he is a squatter
u suspect???? Wow! U don't even know that man. He served this country. Show some respect
@@simplysheisme123 do you get scammed often? I'll bet you do dummy
Probably slow to answer because of his disability
Maybe his disability is of a personal nature.
A married vet with a %100 disability rating is getting a little over 4.2k/mo (tax free) along with free VA medical support.
Why this guy couldn't pay his mortgage for 3-years kinda makes ya wonder.
Maybe he was paying on his student loans...
And at 200K combined, his wife must be earning well over 100k.
As a veteran myself, I have 2 deployments by the age 23, hate when vets pull this card of “disability”. Bet u the guy experienced no combat and taking advantage of the system. Bum
Nope 100% is 100%. Not all injuries can are visible. My uncle and father inlaw are 100% based on psychological. You are new to the game so don't judge kid

This just blew my mind knowing 100% disability is tax free and can be as much as the equivalent of a high 80K-low 90K salary’s take home pay. We all have flaws and mismanage occasionally, but no way staying in a home for 3 years mortgage free

He got a damn addiction. 200k a year and cant pay 2300 per month mortgage. PEUULIZZZZZZ!!!
Great Video!! From my perspective, in order to acquire stable housing, it is essential to have a reliable financial plan. Personally I work with a fixed income planner and portfolio manager in the US.
A lot of people downplay a planners role, until burnt by their mistakes. I remember just after my previous job layoff, i had to stay afloat, hence researched for licensed fiduciary advisors. Thankfully, I came across someone of practical knowledge and experience. My reserve fund of $225k has yielded nearly $1m after subsequent investments.
I’ve shuffled through a few financial experts in the past but settled with Ms. LUCY ROSE CARTER.
Her strategy is recession proof, more specifically profit-oriented and most likely you’ll find her basic information on the net. She’s a very well known advisor.
I’ve been well inclined with Ms. Lucy’s platform for a while now. I have turned over more than half a million working with her on a wide array of options and finally sticking to a few that have been recently favorable.
who is this Lucy Rose Carter you speak of? Sounds like a seasoned investor.. Can I get a contact?
So they lived in the home for 3 years rent free ($72k saved) and if he sells he gets an extra $100k?
It sure does pay to be irresponsible.
100% disability would cover his mortgage. Almost twice over. Free medical. Wife working as well.
No, he is lying or was taking advantage.
Prayers that you continue to heal from your physical & mental disabilities. It looks like the Debbie Downers in the comments section don’t understand that it takes time for 100% disability to be approved. 🙏🏿🙌🏾
My neighbor claims the vet card when he sits all day in his car drinking since 7,8 am in the morning he never even fought! He was a cook and never in an active war zone, but somehow the war that other vets fought has him with "ptsd" being a prick that he is and his house is always surrounded of some trash because he refuses to pay trash service and he let's all his pantry donations that church bring him outside in the rain, snow and sun just to waste. I know he's capable of more as he has sole custody his teenage kid
Wonder what the inside looks like. CPS might need to be called.
I despise vets like that, I served and see so many that abuse the system and then scream how they are a vet and not being taken care of.
Honestly there is little joy in life with no purpose. Its not healthy for a man to be idle. Thats where the saying "Idle hands do the devils work" comes from!
Hope he doesn't keep guns...but would assume he does
Veteran here and a therapist. PTSD isn't just experienced in war zones. There are other experiences that result in a PTSD diagnosis.
Okay, im gonna be the villain here.
I know too many people, way too many people, that claim “disability” from the military who never saw combat and their “disability” is simply a way to use the system. Granted, the men and women who fought and have PTSD and injuries from war should be taken care of…period end of story. I smell a rat with this guy.
This guy didn’t see any war, that’s for darn sure.
You all don't know this man or his military history. Get real. You all sound ridiculous, especially if you have never served in the military.
And what rat could you smell, besides the one in your kitchen, concerning this Veteran that you know nothing about?
From veterans I've talked to, your percent of disability can have a lot more to do with how you play the system than how much you actually need it. Of course some people need it, but functionally it's no better than other government programs.
@@MT-yx5cu “I smell a rat” refers to what i believe is going on based on what ive seen. My brother gets $2300 of “disability” yet is a full time cop….and is always broke lol 😂 i know plenty other veterans with the same scenario. This dude is behind and hasnt worked for 3 years and saw no combat….nope, he is on bs.
@@joshua38410 Again, you don't know this man and you can't put everyone in a box. How do you know he didn't see combat?
PTSD is no joke and neither is the pain Veterans have to indure after the military beats their bodies up for years.
You also don't know his financial situation or family dynamics. Yes, there are people that scam EVERY system in this country, but at least Veterans did or sacrificed something for the country they are receiving benefits from. Judge based off what you KNOW not what you assume.
And while you are talking trash about your brother, at least he had the b-a-l-l-s to serve his country and now he is risking his life to protect civilians in his city. What are you doing besides watching his pockets? Im sure he'll get his finances in order one day. Hopefully you've tried to help him instead of hating on the money he earned and talking ish 🤷🏽♀️.

Ya'll make 200k, lived in the house for 5 yrs and skipped paying the last 2 1/2yrs. That is shameful for a vet. You didn't work for 3 years because you were getting a VA check, so you still had an income.
There is something else they are paying for and he’s not saying
Banks don’t even want property in Baltimore.
I’m in the service and I don’t like how people like this can abuse the system for $70K while still talking happily about selling and making $100K profit, disability or not. He would have been fine if he sold off three years ago, or even one year ago, but made the active decision not to, depriving others of much needed resources.
Well that’s his house. If he continues to not pay them bank will take it from him. What’s wrong with selling something he owns at a profit?
He was on furlough for three freaking years. The point of the program is to help vets get back on their feet so that they can eventually find employment and make payments again, not live rent free and speculate on their house value. The taxpayer is writing off the banks loss this whole time mind you so it is a burden on society.
Way more questions to be asked here…. But the guy didn’t seem very fourth coming as it was.

Whoa. I'm amazed that one could get behind this long. How stressful
He's a vet with a VA loan. Don't try it if that's not your circumstance
