Once again very nicely done ePig. I like the construction of this smock very much. Arktis gear is very well respected yet most items priced reasonably.
Problem is here is in the US distribution of their gear is not very good.
Be safe out there my friend.
Buy direct from the UK store. They ship everywhere in the USA via DHL and you will have your gear in 2-4 days, max. The US-based guy only uses eBay and is nothing but trouble.

OK...first, let me say, like all the others commenting here, that I appreciate the work behind making a video (i know it is an 1 year old video now)....secondly, I would like to ask some of those commenting : what experience have you (the commentators) with Arktis materials when commenting on a video saying how good it looks, how good it is ?... etc etc
I used Arktis professionally because it was what we had provided to us as a unit....there are a couple of things that don't work so well : on some - the die is washing away quite quickly , on some (those clothing from them who have it) -the Velcro is ripping from the sawing...and so on - I have more to say....
BUT, what they all (all their products with buttons) have in common - and what a pain is to repair : the buttons - if someone payed attention - they use a weird - but sturdy way to fix their buttons (I will recognize that) - when the buttons are cracking - and they will - under usage in mud,rain,sun,snow- it's plastic-they crack - I dare any of you to try to fast replace them ....even if you are in your room on base...it's a damn pain in the ass to replace them!!!!
Thanks for your detailed comment and feedback, much appreciated - so far we did not see any issues with the buttons, but in germany we often cover them with sniper tape - maybe thats the reason why they don't break. Looking at craftsmanship and general stitching as well as the fabrics there are differences between Asian and UK made products as well as the fabrics used. For example: We have the mountain smock in OD and Woodland. The woodland is much thinner which makes it perfect for hot weather but it is also more sensitive - compareable to BDU fabrics - ripstop. The OD version is much heavier fabric, it is a best and made to last - but this makes it also warmer so not the best choice for hot weather - works well 3 seasons in germany. Hope that helps?
@@epiggroup what I said is in direct liaison with the Tundra version and the French CE cammo, I'm in France - it was what we used, I do understand the differences in the tissue used and it's logical as to how a tissue is different from season to season and from brand to brand (From Arktis, Tundra is sturdier than the hot weather one) ...it was what i used. They are OK for the price , and I think they could be improved upon (that button replacement part 🙂). Thank you for your reply.

Serie ist ja schon ein, zwei Tage alt.... 😉😅... aber genial.
Thema könnte man ewig fortsetzen und es wäre nie 'ausgelutscht' 😂
Mich hätten auch Smocks interessiert die dienstlich geliefert sind, wie bspw. der brit. MTP Windproof Smock. Für ein 'Massenprodukt' extrem super!! Aber auch Fjällräven hat einen Smock.... der allerdings absurd teuer ist. Gerade wer schon Smocks getragen hat... vllt sogar dienstlich wie ich, kann nur den Kopf schütteln. Aber interessant alle mal. Was denkt ihr?

Dieser Smock ist von der Gestaltung her, wie der von Mil-Tec, nur mit ein paar zusätzlichen Inhalten, wie das Tarnnetz und die Hörlöcher in der Kaputze.
Die meisten Smocks weisen sehr viele Ähnlichkeiten auf

Wie immer geiles Video! Ergibt es aus Eurer Bewertung Sinn die Taschen mit Nylon zu füttern? Wird die Wasserfestigkeit damit so sehr erhöht? Die Sachen, die ich in die Taschen packe sind entweder von sich auch wasserfest, oder ich verpacke die 100% wasserdicht (Wechselsocken, Mütze o.ä.).
Das is eine sehr interessante Frage. Ich korrespondier nochmal mit Martin wie da seine Einschätzung is. LG hannes
Da geht es wahrscheinlich eher darum, dass Gegenstände, die häufig gebraucht werden, nicht nochmal zusätzlich wasserdicht zu verpacken, aber trotzdem einen gewissen Schutz zu geben - z.B. Kartenmaterial / Schreibzeug etc.
Ich finde den Cool und würde mich sicher für dieses Modell entscheiden wenn Recon den mal im Angebot hat.
Geben wir so weiter
@@epiggroup bitte allgemein das Arktis Sortiment ausbauen 🤙 auch der Sniper Smock z.B. wäre ne feine Sache. Könnt ihr bei Gelegenheit vielleicht auch nochmal anmerken.

Wird hier in der smock Serie auch der neue von crye precision vorgestellt?
Wenn er denn mal offiziell herauskommt auf jeden Fall
Am Ämelende mag ich Klett lieber (kann mann viel passender eng stellen)
und auch wenn es Smock Tradition ist - verdeckte Knöpfe sind sinnvoller (auch Arktis hatte da mal Sondermodelle wo es so war)
Ansonsten ein Toller Smock

Mhhh, die Fronttaschen sehen kleiner aus als bei anderen Smocks. Dafür scheinen die Seitentaschen breiter auszufallen. Täuscht das? Ich teste das immer mit zwei Bierdosen 0,5l. die passen exakt in jede Tasche bei meinen Smocks. Solltet ihr auch machen: Das ist besonders nach den Dreharbeiten von Vorteil ;-)
