- Well, we are going back down to Chico for Thanksgiving so I am making a dessert for us all. This recipe looked simple and yet very flavorful and traditional. Pie crusts don't agree with me so crumble & I got along great!
I hope this video gives you some holiday cheer and comforts of home. But most of all, some tinglesssssss!

I haven't baked in a very long time, haven't had the inspiration. You are so wise: only the first minutes of this video have inspired me to try and bake again. All I need is to light some candles, feel pretty and feel good. Thank you for the inspiration and advice. 😊❤
You can do it! But honestly, if one does not enjoy baking typically, (like me) it really helps to have inspiration. Music, candlelight with fragrances of food, warm surroundings, no interruptions, etc.

Every day, I feel blessed. By my home, by this town, by my family. I don't see my family all that often but it's just knowing that they are right around the corner, so to speak. Two hours is not too long away. Spending Thanksgiving and Christmas with family. It's a joyful time.
As for my house, it's still so much work to do on it. A little difficult squishing into three rooms of the house. But it won't be long before our living room will be livable. Very excited about that. 👏🏻👏🏻🤗

I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving Rebecca and I hope your family enjoyed the crumble. We don’t usually do pumpkin pie in Britain, but I managed to get hold of a can of pumpkin puree and I made this crumble today to eat after a traditional Sunday roast dinner. I served it warm with fresh cream and it was delicious 😘

I agree with you about not wanting to use big stand mixers. I had one years ago but found it took up so much space and I hated having to clean it. Then I downsized to a hand mixer but again I didn't enjoy using it because I have a very small kitchen and even storing that was a pain. I progressed backwards and only use a spatula and/or a whisk when I bake now. It feels so much more relaxing for me.

I was going to comment last night but fell asleep while watching. It is funny when you cook at home by yourself vs. on camera. If you can't open a package or can or bottle you just grab anything and go at it, if you are filming you have to be somewhat civilized. You managed it well. Thanks, and YUM!!!
