I look after my Mum I have to be super careful to protect her, which means I have to hard isolate myself. Glad to see you all are well, Atty is adorably herself. X
My son and I have a similar set up but we have a washer so he is able to wash his uniforms every few days. I haven't left the house since March 20, two months ago today. Part if that is because my van needs some mechanical work and won't start. My backyard mechanic is an essential worker working lots of hours. His family also just lost his young son-in-law to a rare form of cancer so they've been taking care if that. Anyhow, he was able just today to come look it over. Hoping it's just the battery or ignition, something fairly easy but he's thinking it might be the starter. There goes my whole stimulus check (which I am SO grateful for and have left in the bank knowing I would need it for fixing my van). I did hope to be able to spend some in my community. Hopefully, it won't cost the entire amount! Anyhow, moving around isn't easy for me though I know I really should have been at least sitting outside the door getting some sun and fresh breeze but northern Michigan weather is so darn fickle. lol We've had several days of snow this month and many more of rain and even catastrophic flooding mid-state last night. Now, it decides it wants to be summer and we're sweating to death! lol Keep taking care!
You're doing about the same as I am. I'd much rather be safe than sorry. There are still so many unknowns about this virus. Keep doing what you're doing!❤
Good morning lovely lady. You two are doing great. Your followers love you both. Brenda keep on keeping on. Like my mug says, good enough is good enough. I live alone, but get to see my son and his family often. Also doing ok with finances. So blessed.
Life has certainly been crazy. I feel like I am living in a bad syfy movie. It wears us out to try to remember everything that should and shouldn't be done to stay safe. We take same cautions with changing clothes and showering. Keep your guard up and stay safe.
Thank you for touching base. 💜✨ I’m sorry about your beautiful girl. My fur babies are my family. Though,it is very good to see miss Atty like being walked! Doing my best to be safe ✨💜🤍💜
Happy to see all your precautions - I'm doing pretty much the same sort of things too. There's no such thing as too careful where this virus is concerned. Loads of love, hugs and toodles
Wow dear Brenda, you are so much better organised than me, I mean ok, I m in my house not going out, only go ones every second week to get food and ok that I plan like 3 days before, like going to a dinner where there is royalty hahah, but its true, like you say, its better to be safe and do all this, and not to be sorry later. Oh and very good tip, that pen thingie when the mailman comes with the machine to give signature.
Thank you!! I'm sure I'd do much less if the Boy didn't have to work in the midst of it every day for 7 to 8 days in a row before having a day off. That does put us at higher risk so I'm being overly careful. I'm glad you're being careful, too, when you have to go out!! Thank you for that!!
Hi Brenda! I'm so glad that you are doing such an amazing and thorough job of protecting yourself. The video is just fine, as it is. We love you all, and hope you stay safe.
Brenda, I’m glad that you’re doing what you have to do to stay safe. Don’t apologize for the quality of your video. I always look forward to whatever you want to share with us, and I found this video very interesting. Besides, you never know who you may be helping or inspiring with your ideas. I, for one, love the rubbing alcohol spray idea. I’m going to keep some near the entryway now too. 👍🏼 Give Atty a cuddle for me.
It's good to see a video Brenda.. I haven't watched one in forever, but do glad one popped up today! I hope you, your son and furbabies are doing well! Stay safe
Ohh!! I never thought about lysol! I used to clean with it. Thank you!! This is my last bottle of rubbing alcohol and it's difficult to find these days. So that's a very useful tip!
There's a new product by Lysol called Laundry Sanitizer. It works with cold water and has no bleach. Maybe you can use that for Josh's uniforms. You guys stay safe! Sending you lots of love!
It is better to be safe then sorry, you got that right. Atty is just so darn cute, I love all your videos. Now that she has gotten a taste of outside she wants to be there all the time. Awwww.
You're doing much better than me at this. I do wear a mask and social distance. Others that do not make it hard to get out. I have to be the one that goes out after essentials. What do you do to keep busy and your mind off it all?
Hi Brenda, you and Josh are indeed prepared for this virus. We need to make Atty some little masks..:-) I have to admit that I teared up when you talked about any future grief or guilt your son might have. My pray is that this will end and you and Josh get to go on with your travelling dreams. Belly rubs for Atty with big purple kisses. Hang in there, friend.
Before we would go do clothes in the apartment laundry room we would spray it with Lysol. It's kinda calming down in Alabama but I know some states are still under strict lock down.
That's a smart way to do it. I always make sure my first load is something with the rubbing alcohol or bleach that can be washed with really hot water. Just to be safe. You never know about people. One plus about this place is great water pressure and very hot, unending hot water!! Stay safe!!
You guys are on top if it, and those masks are cute! We wipe down groceries, wash our veggies and fruit as we come in, and always wear masks. I see many people running around without them, unfortunately. Both sides of the extreme are exaggerated. God forbid the political parties act together, if one side says one thing, the other goes opposite. It's not a nothing burger like the memes suggest, buts its not the end of the world, it has around a 98% recovery rate so far. The problem is mutation, and I heard younger people are being affected in NY. People need to pay rent and feed their kids, so I understand opening things back up as long as people are smart and precautions are taken. We're opening in stages, we'll see how it goes.
Too many people I care about are part of that 2%, though, and I'd rather they stay safe. This virus is so different from most others. It's like it chose the worse part of each bug it found and added that to its shopping cart. Stay safe!!
My New Me they say hi back, one of my boy cats has been watching you since you moved out of the first house you filmed in, I think he recognizes Atty by now😂The rest look confused and my Peach meows back when Atty does
Better to over react and be safe. In a perfect time your son would stay somewhere else and not risk coming home to you. But I understand your situation. My hubby is still working but he is a city worker he does concrete work on the roads. He's as carefully as he can be. Me I go out once a week for groceries. I am stocked up but I don't want to eat into that so I go out once a week and get a few things for the week. I worry about my dad who's 72 and my daughter whose pregnant but working from home but her husband is a Sargent at the prison and that scares me cause he has to work. I'm in a one bedroom apartment it's so boring! Went to the park a few times but it scares me. I just went to walk around the track and it was full of people. I've been watching movies reading on Kindle and playing games but that's getting old. Be safe and have a Happy Mother's Day!
It would be safer if the boy could go elsewhere, but yes. That's not feasible right now. So we're being extra careful. I'm glad to hear that you are, too. I know it's boring, but it won't be for forever. And so worth it if it can save lives. Thank you and Happy Mother's Day to you, too!!
Hi Brenda😊😍🌷my friend is making mask and selling them and she just can't keep up! She even ships them...I told her she was crazy lol...anyways, she was told that if you put your mask in a microwave for 15 seconds that this kills all the bacteria, as long as there are no metals in the mask, like say, for nose pieces...some ppl use pipe cleaners for this but...once they are washed the pipe cleaners will rust...I hope this helps you out😘😄
This virus is definitely no joke. You have a great system. Just be careful taking Atty out, there has been a few cases of cats reported of getting the virus.
Just to soothe the fear, in my pets’s vaccination books is shown they are vaccined for coronavirus. I have no idea if it can be transmitted to humans (the type they get) but as long as your pet has the vaccines all should be okay. Please don’t believe this kind of thing, many people abandoned or even killed their pets based on these rumours.
Thank you, both of you. It is a genuine concern. There are many types of coronavirus, including the common cold. COVID 19 is a brand new type the scientists of the world have never seen before. Before you fully believe or discount a rumor, please thoroughly research it. And I don't mean by watching news channels or what's posted on Facebook. My favorite go to's are Johns Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic. Much of what they've published since January has been learned to be pretty accurate. Keep your pets inside or on a leash where you can control who they come in contact with and they'll be safe right along with you. Maintain your distance and their distance from everyone else as much as possible.
My New Me you’re right, I don’t think their type of coronavirus is transmitted to humans. I looked into it but I still think it’s horrible to get rid of one’s cat or dog, it’s like kicking out a family member, not to mention a family member is more likely to get and transmit a contagious disease while a pet’s whereabouts can be controlled
Thank you!! I'd rather not say where he works. I have grown some pretty nasty haters on my channel so I'm sure you'll understand. Atty does a great job, doesn't she? lol
What would we do without Walmart.com to get us most of our food? Where I live, if you use Target or some other store, you have to go through a delivery service that charges plus tips. Walmart delivers free if you order something like $39 worth of stuff. I get my cats' food and litter through both Walmart and Chewy.com. If you haven't used Chewy, you might want to glance at their website. They are a bit backed up right now, but they are dependable. Thank you for the video. Best to you.
We would be struggling if we couldn't buy most of our necessities online....like kitty treats. lol We do use the grocery delivery and pay the fees for fresh stuff since we don't have a car. But we try to limit that to once a month or so. I'll check out Chewy, I've heard of it but can't remember if I've ever used them before. Thanks!!
Thank you!! They are learning more and more about this virus, but started out knowing so little. It can be confusing. I did not make the masks, I wish I was that talented. lol But a dear friend of mine made them for us. That lady has skills!!
So glad you back on here really missed you all
Always glad to hearing from you
Take care my friend!!!
I look after my Mum I have to be super careful to protect her, which means I have to hard isolate myself. Glad to see you all are well, Atty is adorably herself. X
I'm so happy to see a new video!! Y'all stay safe!! 💗
Your sweet kitty speaking throughout this serious video is the first time my Tan Kitty has ever reacted to an on-screen cat ;)
Look for Lysol laundry sanitizer. It will not damage clothes with repeated use.
That’s a fancy kettle
