I believe alot of people are seeing this message wrong, he is not saying don't repent he saying understand that we are not perfect but because Jesus died he have the chance to get it right. We got to quit trying to be so heavenly holy and no earthly good. We be too deep for our own good!!!!!!

I attend New Birth Missionary Baptist Church under the profound Leadership of Bishop Eddie Long and Vanessa Long... your sitting here judging this man of God off of speculations that you know not of it they are true or false.And if they were true, who are you to condemn him. John 8:7 "let him without sin cast the first stone."...People dont want to get saved or come to church because you RELIGIOUS folk always somewhere judging and pointing your fingers...God be with you all!!!

Where do we go from there? To a life full of empty prosperity? To a job with a boss treating you bad and other workers hating their job making you hate the job aswell? To basic slavery in an evermore inhumane system? Humanity seems pretty sick as a whole and even the 5903942094830 denominations would point to that fact. I'm not saying I support everything this pastor said or has done I just did a bit of research today but this was an ok message imho. At least the 6 minutes I watched.

Yes we are new creations but it takes a lifetime for us to conform ourselves to the purity and utter perfection of Christ. Let us restore others in the Spirit of MEEKNESS and GENTLENESS and most of all consider yourself and your own sin.

Wow one of my favorite sermons so far, I suffer from PTSD and Paranoid Schizophrenia. I deal wit depression anger and anxiety it has me on edge and has me going to mental health counciling. So I'm also in treatment it does me good to hear this everyday because no one seems to get this truth. Instead they judge and put you down and talk about you, that's the typical church for you. Bishop Eddie Long is truly missed😔
I believe my wrong is my wrong. My sin is my responsiblity to confess it to my God. I meant to sin. I am ashamed and I am not bragging about my faults. I do believe that my God is faithful and just to forgive me as I repent. I was not crazy, nor insane. I was acting out of my sinful nature. In my own righteousness, I am a filthy rag in God's eyes. The treatment is the shed blood of Christ on Calvary. We need to not make mockery of His atoinment, sacrafice and what Christ paid for our sins.
My comment is directed towards those who call this message a manipulation of Scripture because we have been given a sound mind, the mind of Christ, etc. These Scriptures quoted are based on the SPIRITUAL MATURITY of the believer. We don't come to Christ walking in this. They're gifts Christ gave to us to USE to grow in spiritual maturity. The issues referred to here demonstrate that we haven't spiritually grown in these areas and that we must rely on God's grace and mercy in these times.

Besides that, my comment was geared more toward the awesome display of forgiveness that was shared by not leaving him there just because he was accused of such horrible acts. When he uses the word insane he is basically saying you messed up but you have another chance because of grace and mercy. He have to quit trying to be so deep and find fault in people.

We don't have that "Sound Mind" until we accept Jesus. This is a powerful sermon. We were insane before we came to Jesus.
