oh my goodness. your video was a lifesaver. got the bright idea to make stockings and tried everything.... the heavy solvy is a must!!! thanks for all the details in the video, every bit mattered!
So glad I found your video! I had a friend ask me to embroider her kids' stockings and wrestled getting the velvet into the hoop for a while. Wasn't working so decided I'd better get better direction on this before I ruin them. Thank you for posting this!
thanks for these tips about velvet fabric. this is a detail we dont think of till we are already in the project. thanks for this attention to detail. p.s. you look great
Thank you for this very informative video!! You have a great way of teaching without being wordy & confusing. I'm subscribing to see all your videos! One thing I'd like to see is in your description putting a list of the products you used - it's helpful for making a checklist without having to try and scroll thru the video to remember. I'm excited to try your method (because my own just hasn't worked, I get the hoop burn you were describing) thank you again!
This is great! Thank you so much. I do hand embroidery with a old fashioned stretch frame instead of a hoop, and I think this method is going to work well for me. I may have to use muslin rather than stabilizer, but the idea is still pretty much the same =)
Im so glad I found your channel love all your videos you have great tips and ideas! Im super jealous of your crafting area :) I wish I had an embroidery machine I hope to get one this year with my taxes!!!! :)
Thanks for the great instructions. Since you made this video several years ago, are these still the brands and products you would recommend for embroidering on velvet?
Believe it or not, embroidery was one of my crafting phases, I hardly ever do it anymore. But lately, I’ve been eyeing the new Husqvarna Viking machine! I would still recommend the products I used in this video!
You lost your sound at the end. You embroidered with metallic thread, how about a lesson on embroidering with metallic thread. I have the worse luck trying to embroider with it. Thanks I love your embroidery videos
Criminally underrated video!

I like the way you always tell what needle you are using and give examples of what not to do and why.
A trick : you can watch series on kaldroStream. Been using them for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Adriel Rocco Definitely, I've been watching on kaldrostream for months myself =)
@Adriel Rocco yea, I have been watching on Kaldrostream for months myself :D

@@ChristianTamez Thank you!
Very helpful! Thank you!!
Why not use sticky back stabilizer? Otherwise you have temp. adhesive build up on the hoop.
New Sub...I really enjoy ALL your videos and your craft area! Jealous :)
How is it possible to draw cross hairs on velvet for placement?
Great video thanks!!
