My dad (Eddie) still works on cars. He helped his grandson (my son) restore his truck. My mom, still has long hair, but it’s to her waist now. She still squeals when she is happy and is still silly. Thank you for uploading the episodes they were on so I can share this with my kids and show them when grandma and grandpa were young.
I can't help but think your mom looks like she could've won a Crystal Gayle lookalike contest back in the day... was she ever on any other game shows, by any chance?
Thanks again, Jared, for uploading these! I checked your About Tab, and it didn't say requests were forbidden, but if they are, I apologize. You know that back in late January of this year we tragically lost Michael Tiller of the Game Show Temple, right? In fact, I saw your name on his list of past traders. Anyway, there was a Season Two episode of this show on his return channel, it wasn't on his first one, just his return one, that never got re-uploaded to the Game Show Temple Archives, which he created as a backup channel after his return one was terminated after it received three strikes in only two and a half weeks, before the tragedy. I'm talking about Donald/Kathi vs. Phillip/Barbara. It has shaky picture and sound breaches, but is still by all means watchable, and does not include commercials. As I was following the GST Archives I was patiently yearning for the due time that that one would be re-uploaded, but I knew Michael didn't take requests, so I didn't even bother getting a UA-cam account until after the tragedy. But after Michael's death, prayers for his family, I've been hoping someone else could somehow obtain and re-upload that one again as described, regardless of who it is. (There are two others from his return channel I've been hoping to find again too, but I think Dave Heller of the Game Show Island is on top of that already.) Again, thank you for all your uploads!👍
Okay, I just read your comment a little more carefully, and I didn't actually put his UA-cam material on the Internet Archive, I just have every upload saved on a memory stick. Saved could also be called downloaded or archived. I wish that the 4K Downloader supported IA, but it doesn't seem to for some reason, or I could have captured his IA channel, too. I haven't learned how to upload on UA-cam yet, and I haven't created an account for IA, Vimeo, or Dailymotion yet. Those game shows/episodes that can't seem to be shared online anywhere that people really wish otherwise, the two safest alternatives I can think of is re-learning to record it from the television or just limiting it to online trading. I just wish there was a way to participate in that without giving out your email address, I wonder if it's possible to create a second private one, or better yet, just block anyone you don't trust from the one you have. That was a huge concern my parents had when I created an account to post comments on UA-cam.
21:49 is the Lorimar-Telepictures logo which was a prototype called the “L-T Tower”. It lasted about the first few weeks until it was replaced by the “Crashing Comets” logo later on where it remained until 1989.
18:27 (The Gauntlet of Villains from the 1979-80 CBS game show, Whew!): *"TIME'S UP!"* Rats! No second step towards $1 Million in their future, I'm both sad and sorry to say. Too bad. At least Eddie & Barbara got over $2,900 in cash, which is better than nothing.

Barbara's reaction was priceless when Bob buzzed in with only one letter!😂

Yeah, no kidding.
Sony and Viacom ones, anyway.

This game show was so underrated. I was only 3 and 4 when this show was aired. Only game show in its day to give away $1,000,000 in 1986
Same here, I was born in 1983.

The wife has more knowledge of car parts.
$2925 over two days, that's something!👍

What a tough loss, they didn’t go to the 3rd step to go for a million dollars, so they left with $2,900 with $2,000 on the 1st step, that was good.
11:43 Clearly named after his father.
The easiest category for me probably would have been Canadian cities, considering I know a lot of geography from watching WITWICS.
KHJ had this game show.
I used to watch it on WTAJ and I believe WTAE when I was very young.
As did WOR-TV (now WWOR) Channel 9 Secaucus, NJ
Thank you for this one, too! I was actually hoping this one was next. Again, I'm the first to comment and to like!
Thank you again!👍
10:22 Tough decision, anyway. (Sometimes, other times it's pretty easy.)
