SERIOUSLY this is probably the best AMV of Mass Effect the clips really work with the song and seeing Shepard almost get on the Normandy at the end just to turn around and let his crew and Companions leave while he stays and finishes the fight just hits you in the feels when the flashbacks happen
Also you are right the flash backs just makes you want to cry because of what Shepard and her friends, family ECT has been through for so many years it's so heart breaking that Shepard has given up his life to save others.

Incorrect the reapers easily overpowered all of organic life the reason they lost was because of two things one the timing enough time and cycles had passed that a sufficient blueprint of the crucible a super weapon made solely to kill the reapers had been passed on to the current cycle and the second reason is literally commander Shepard he was literally an anomaly as stated by the catalyst no one has the drive determination defiance and pure willpower to do what he did that is the only reason why the reapers lost
