    I would love to see something more done in regards to the wolverine XS. If you've seen Demonstrated Concepts he has a wonderful idea with a birdshead grip with a recoil strap and more of a cheekweld to result in an overall shorter length of pull. Seems like a wonderful backpack gun too!

      It's definitely become one of my favorite pairs to own. If there is more that you'd like to see that I have access to or even stuff I can do with these shotguns, by all means lemme know! They're way too fun to leave in the safe for 2 weeks

    What mag extensions fit on those? Also can you do a disassembly of both?

    Just got my PAL & been looking for a backpacker bug-out shotgun & have been sold to the Taiga folding pump. How are yours holding so far? Any significant quality issues (especially failures of major components like firing pin/mag tube etc) at all? Thank you!!

      Personally mine. The XP-pump. Mines a total beast. Mines made my revolution armory. I've heard the feed ramp fails on some but so far Mines a champ. The XS-Semi auto. I got one of the first models and the actual guide for the charging handle was a tad too short, it rammed the end of the slide till the charging handle broke off. I had it dremalled out and it's also a beast now since. Newer models have a slightly longer guide probably because of that issue.
      Oh! And obviously congratulations on getting your PAL! Totally worth it

    I have an idea why but in my experience a lot of firearms will cycle poorly in cold weather, especially striker fire pistols. I have had both well broken in ,1000 plus rd guns and practically new guns act stupid in the cold. The new guns make more sense they need a little break in sometimes but weather can really effect your reliability.

      Btw where you at to have that much snow already? I am in MI and its still all green grass outside. We had a couple dustings but it hasnt stuck at all. Ps, is that your range or are you on a public range? Really nice looking place to shoot though. I dig that you have some cover for poor weather.

      Hey, yeah I live in Alberta 🇨🇦. It's basically 9 months of snow in this province. I usually baby my firearms cause they're all crazy over priced but in my experience so far. With all my firearms actually, they seem to run just fine at -20c.
      This range I go to isn't my personal one but I spoke to the guy who does and he says as long as I'm not being dumb I can film all I want. We're going through some really harsh gun regulations right now and all I can do is promote that firearms are a good time in the right place. Just like a vehicle

      @@JetEyeMonkey you probably clean your guns right, dont over lube and are probably using an oil that's suited for cold. Some lubricants are better than others. I have never had trouble with a shotgun in the cold but have definitely had striker fire handguns act up and some rifles. When frog lube was kind of new I tried it on a M&P9c, that thing wouldn't hardly run at all. I sprayed it down with amsoil clp dried it off pretty well and it ran fine. Most long guns dont seem to care too much regardless of what you use, but if its thick stuff it can cause problems.

      Yeah I clean then all the time. Something about taking them apart and wiping off powder residue is fun for me. My 22lr is the one I clean most. I usually clean my firearms after 200 rounds and cabelas recommended this oil that's good for -25c. I don't normally go to the range when it's colder than that but, fun is fun

      @@JetEyeMonkey I enjoy cleaning them too. I have assembled a things for myself to get them the way I wanted. I know exactly what you mean. .22 is pretty dirty stuff usually so that makes sense on the cleaning

    Which one do you like the most, the pump or the semiautomatic?

    • @JetEyeMonkey
      @JetEyeMonkey  3 місяці тому +1

      Personally I like the pump. Only cause it takes a specific situation to jam the next load

    How's the reliability so far? Any problems?

    • @JetEyeMonkey
      @JetEyeMonkey  5 місяців тому

      So far not a single one, just the semi auto likes Buckshot or slugs or anything in 3 inch it doesn't like to cycle low powered birdshot

    How good is the quality on the hinge components?

    • @JetEyeMonkey
      @JetEyeMonkey  Рік тому

      So far, pretty good honestly. The only issue I had so far is the semi auto, I was sending it a bunch and the charging handle broke from ramming the end of the track. Apparently that was an issue with the first models but I got it drilled out and fixed so there's room to move. The hinges seem strong so far. No parts fall out anyway

      It's not actually supposed to that way. I just reloaded weird. I think if anything it's a way to unload it safely without clambering a shell.
