i first heard of extrema ratio in tactical knives a few years back. the tester was throwing the folders around. and the pivots stayed tight. i was amazed by their toughness. and that was their folders! those rubber pinches at the end of the sheath is a great idea. extra retention and keeps down the rattle. that baby is stubby. like a sawed off shotgun.
Regarding the choil, I was offering a potential useage position that I believe, with care, could be accomplished as I described. As for the handle, I do mention this is the compact version of the larger Fulcrum model also available and that information is provided on the KT website. I also provide the blade length and overall length measurements in the video so nothing is hidden. If you feel the handle is too compact I recommend you attach a lanyard to the bottom which can assist with grip.
Yes, exactly. Or you could use it for a forward lanyard which would assist in the reverse draw or a two point lanyard to wrap across the top of your hand.
The handle is 10cm long and any good website would tell you this information. The C is for "compact" so the knife is compact one and Extrema Ratio advertise it as a backup knife while the regular fulcrum is a multi-purpose knife. I own a FKMD stealth drop point, I know they were not built for the same purpose, but according to me the built quality, the thickness and the shape of the blade, the zirocnium nitride black finish of the Fulcrum C is from far better to the FKMD one.
Is that blade side lug on the guard for lashing it to something if required in a survival situation (ie spear for game or fish, or extending your cutting/sawing reach for bush craft)?
@B0MBALI9 Usually the fakes are priced at too-good-to-be-true levels. It's like the guy on the street who offers to sell you a "genuine" Rolex watch for $100. Other red flags would be a suspicious point of sale. For example finding Extrema Ratio knives at an outdoor market or bazaar or sold by someone who does not appear a purveyor of fine knives or couldn't appreciate what they supposedly are selling. Buy from reputable places you can trust.... like Knives Town for example {:)
my worst 200 euro's spend ever. maybe my own fault, but the knife is impossible to sharpen ! I used a DMT pro sharpening set, i can't even cut rope ! So bad :(
I don't know, mmmm I can't see any sense on this knife!. Is small for a fighting knife,, 4 inches edge, is small also for a good survival knife. I do not like combo edge but less when is a tanto shape!. Consecutive 2 inches of serration plus +-1 and half of a tanto blade??. Why some one want to pay almost $300 for this knife?, because is cool?. With $300 you can do a lot better. The bigger one oh yeah, but this one no way. Of course is just my opinion! Thanks
This guy does great reviews. I appreciate that he's trying to sell a product but I like that he does it in so much detail

How can you tell whether its a fake or not? I have an offer for 200 euros.

~Dear Santa~ .....
@B0MBALI9 Dude . You are being ripped off . Most Extrema Ratio Knives are about 40-50 euros . 100 euros maximum .
No they're not, they're very pricy knives, youre the one being ripped off
i'm looking on ebay right now and will vouch that there are a lot of fakes considering i just saw one for about 15$ with free shipping and handling.
my worst 200 euro's spend ever. maybe my own fault, but the knife is impossible to sharpen ! I used a DMT pro sharpening set, i can't even cut rope !
So bad :(
i just won the buck 110 on ebay (1990 eddition) :D

Just skip to 05:00 for the knife it self. Thank me later.
the fake one use the real rubber for the grip instead of the Forprene.
Extrema Ratio knife are made to penetrate Kevlar

It is not a "knife". It is a fighting instrument to stab with.cutting and slicing is almost impossible.for a civilian its not light enough to carry.
hate the word baggy.... its a BAG!!!!!!!!
if it wasnt serrated it would be perfect
good german stell ;)
