Wow the bottle is incredible!! When I use satin patina with any other glaze, I usually use at least 2 and sometimes 3 coats, it’s a major runner for me. I also fire to a hot cone 6 up to a 7 but I’ve seen it run on others as well. I was really worried when I saw you add all of the other glazes but WOW! It turned out amazingly well. I’m glazing today and I’ll be trying that combo for sure but I’ll put the piece in my box for my top shelf only since it’s much cooler up there in my kiln. Thanks so much.
What a fantastic vase! I really admire your experimental abilities! One thing that I have noticed, is that I really miss the Ability to give you feedback in real time. You know, like it when you’re on the lecture, you can nod and smile, and ask your questions. I think that’s because you have such a fantastic presence, which is good, but it leaves me with a wish to communicate more directly. Well, that’s just me describing my reaction, and I don’t have any solution to that. But now you know, that you give so much of yourself, that it feels strange not to respond to you. I hope you understand my little crazy thoughts about this!😊
That makes perfect sense. I've been trying to figure out a way to do some live videos, but it's hard to scroll comments when your hands are all muddy. I really appreciate your comment, and it's nice to know you are nodding along!
Hi Sarah ~ what a beautiful glaze! I love the progression you did. Your explanation is spot-on for novices like me. Well done! 💕 Thank you. Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
I'll have to try that combo as well! Thank you so much for all the ideas. I love that you use some of the less popular glazes on your channel. It's always so fun to watch! I hope the church fundraiser went well!
Hi Sarah! Always so much fun to watch your videos! Love this colour! But really I have to stop buying glazes!! You guys should stop making videos about all these beautiful glazes!❤😂 I will have my last market of the year this Thursday and hopefully I sell enough I can finally buy myself a really nice pottery wheel! Fingers crossed❤
My fingers are so crossed for your market to go well!! You should get one of those "buy me a coffee" things for your channel. That way people can support you! I have the cheap Shimpo wheel and I love it. This is the one I use: www.dickblick.com/products/nidec-shimpo-vl-lite-pottery-wheel/?fromSearch=%2Fsearch%2F%3Fsearchword%3Dshimpo%20wheel

Interesting, I'll have to watch out if I run my kiln hotter! Thanks for the tip!

Watching you create these pretty pieces is so relaxing!
Thanks so much 😊
Hey, Sarah! I don't have the glaze, but I see many using it. I also like the 'matte with a gloss on top' look. The result is so great! Thanks, Sarah!
Yeah, it definitely made me look more closely at Mayco's matte line of glazes. I might try another. Thanks for watching!!
I love satin patina. I think I did one that have soft white on the top and it came out beautifully. Thanks for sharing. 😊
