Really solid return, SGC is really tough on the 71 cards, and your grades are really good! If those are not your best I look forward to seeing you submit those. Love the 63s, especially the Power Plus card that one is really sweet! Really enjoyed the video, just subbed and look forward to going back and looking at your content!
Glad to see that you graded cards from the vending box. Nice experiment. I feel like the grades on the 71s were a bit tight. Do you think you'll send more 71s? Don't feel discouraged. Grading cards is really fun and can be a good challenge
Going to the dark side but a good choice with SGC. I just got back 24 cards and the grading I nooticed was slightly tougher but always consistent compared to PSA..Would hate to see what my cards in old slabs would grade today. Do not he too disappointed as I thought you all did well.plus as you said these were the second best. Nice 63's.
Thanks-- I'll show it in a later video, but 2 of the cards I sent had previously been in SGC holders 20 years ago. I cracked them out because I didn't like my cards slabbed then. They each graded lower now.
Nice 71’s. I bought an overall EX-MT+ set of them a few years ago, and have experimented with sending some in to SGC. On the whole they are all over the place. I have nicer cards get lower grades than lesser cards. Had a Seaver that I thought was a 9 candidate; it got a 6. Had a #630 Clemente that I thought was worse than the Seaver, they gave that a 7. I’m probably keeping the rest of them raw. To your point even at $15 it gets pricey fast, especially when you add in shipping and insurance.
Thanks for watching and commenting, and I feel for you. That has to be a nice '71 set. I feel for you on the grading of '71's. I think its great to keep them raw!
I don’t know what the magnification of your glass is, but I have a 10x (heard that is what the graders use) one and small white places look HUGE! My eyesight isn’t that good anymore so I hardly see some of the problems when looking without magnification.
I might have gotten a bad glare making the Wilhelm look worse, as I looked up close and just has a touch on the lower left corner but the rest including centering looks really good. Yeah, I'm not sure what they found with the Carew-- I do think it looks like it should have graded with the 8.5's I had (or better). Thanks for watching!
Some nice grades, very nice-looking cards. The 1963s look great.
thank you!
Incredible grades all around man! Holy hellll! Awesome return.
thank you!
Awesome grades, congratulations and thanks for sharing.
thanks Orlando. Hopefully your pumpkin pie turned out!
Wow those 71’s are so sharp!!! Even the Reggie for a 6 looks great. Well done with the submission 👍🏽
thanks James-- your video was a big part of the inspiration to send it off.
I just subscribed to your channel based on half century’s comment!
Nice returns, congrats!
thanks
Some very nice 71s!
thanks

thanks-- yes, the 71's seemed a lot tighter on grades than the other cards I sent. I will probably send a few more in eventually.
PSA just announced the special for December, 15.00 a card.for 1970s. Love this series of vending cards.
I might have to try that on some-- thanks

My eyes are losing it too. I'd guess this one is about 3x
If sgc would have a registry I wouldn’t consider picking a couple of those up
Hopefully the SGC registry comes somewhat soon because I like them better as a grading company.
is it just me or is that Wilhelm 8 much worse than the 7.5s? also that Rod Carew Jesus it looks dead mint. Crack that one!

I'm stopping the video as I see a mistake that you made Bill Russell's rookie card was in 1970, not 1971
If you stopped watching the video the only person you did a disservice to is yourself
you are correct-- i had the Grich on my brain when I was speaking.
