I absolutely recommend playing number 7 ("Asterix" on Master System). It's such a solid platformer with many secret places to find. For most missions, you can choose between Asterix and Obelix, and they have sometimes vastly different levels/routes. Obelix is basically the Hard Mode since his levels can be kinda diabolic at times. EDIT: Number 11 "Secret Mission" is basically the sequel to this game, but sadly... it's a piece of poop and extremely janky.

I also remember playing Astérix Mega Madness on my old PC when I was a teenager. I got it free from one of UK and Irish Kellogg's cereals in early 2002 although I played it for the first time in late 2005 because I did not have a PC yet. They were published by Infogrames which is now known as Atari SA. I think most of Astérix games have been released in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Greetings from Ireland.
Can someone help me out? I'm looking for an asterix and obelix game where you were racing in a bowl, I remember you needed to hit 3 geese on the track, you could also play as a dinosaur, that's about all I can remember.. I've been looking everywhere

While I appreciate the video, you failes to show half of the games: the ones that came out on multiple platforms, but all they have in common is the same name. For example, XXL for game boy advance and gamecube are wildly different. Man I really wanna get a good modern asterix game, all the ones on ps4 are average at best. I lost my hope after buying the 3ds game😂
