Amen. Your emphasis on not lying was helpful. A lot of times we excuse what we consider to be small lies. “When we promise our kid ‘I’ll take you for an icecream tomorrow’ or ‘today after work I’ll take you to the park’ if you make those promises to your kids, then fulfill them.”
