"Eren, youve killed innocent people ....children.

Fun Fact: The name "Attack on Titan" is a mistranslation that comes from the Japanese title's English subtitle. It's an easy mistake to make if the person who wrote that subtitle wasn't a native speaker, since the の("no") in 進撃の巨人 ("Shingeki no Kyojin") is actually a particle which (usually) notes ownership of or relation to one noun to another noun. So it very well could have been meant to mean "Attack on Titan" or "Attack of the Titans" or even "The Titan's Attack", but because Japanese is contextual in nature the reader could have assumed any combination of those meanings without a second thought. This is where things get mind blowing. Eren Yeager's titan form is called the attack titan. Would you like to guess how you would say "attack titan" in Japanese?
...that's right. Shingeki no Kyojin. This whole time the title hasn't been meant to represent an attack from the titans on humanity, but instead to represent the one human who discovered the power to fight back. That realization/twist is written so well into the story that it's near impossible to describe. It works because of the ambiguity of the Japanese language, and is therefore specific to it, but I just wanted to let you guys know that this whole time "Attack on Titan" has actually been called "The Attack Titan" which may just be the biggest bit of foreshadowing of them all.
When I knew nothing about this series other than the title, I assumed it was some kind of hard sci-fi series (attack on Titan, as in the moon of Saturn).
@@paulgibbon5991 Same here. I avoided even researching it for that reason, for a while. (I love sci-fi, but I was overwhelmed with it in other areas.)
Yes I always doubted why it is called Attack on Titan when the attack is caused BY the titans not entirely on them.
I think whoever translated it always meant it as Attack-on (adjective) Titan (noun), not “attack of the titans” (as this would be something more like “kyojin no shingeki” instead of the other way around; the particle in front of の owns the particle after it), but failed to find a better way of wording it due to being a japanese person lacking english skills instead of an english speaker lacking japanese skills.
I definitely can see how english speakers would think it was a mistranslation of “attack of the titans” though.

I think Attack on Titan has many great messages, mostly delivered as cautionary tales. The consequences of racism, classism, nationalism, imperialism, historical revision, government propaganda, lack of education, political warfare, terrorism, cultism, guilt by association, sins of the father, etc. Even when the story and pacing feel a bit off at times, I think it deals with mature concepts and themes that feel timeless, impactful and relevant.
It shows you the many types of forms that hatred and discrimination take, hoping that you won’t repeat the same mistakes that the characters of this world made. You can’t beat hatred and discrimination with more hatred and discrimination.

If a story can get me that invested that quickly, so that I can really feel the impact of every scene, every musical score, every word in the last season; than damn it it’s an amazing show/story!
Imagine us Original viewers having to wait 4 years after a suspenseful ending and another 2yrs after another shocking reveal. It's been torture
Honestly as a casual watcher who´s not picking apart every minor detail in the animation n´ shit, I never really noticed anything in the show that made me think "wow that doesn´t look very good". Pretty much the only time I thought to myself that the CG looked weird was Bertholt´s colossal animation during their reveal fight. Also as a music guy the S4 intro is fucking spectacular 10/10.
Agreeing with the s4 op. All the explosions and soldiers marching scene has already heavily implied (to me) that this season is going to be a whole different genre. It did take a bit time for me to start liking the music, but after watching the opening animation along with the lyrics, I know that the op is just as good as its previous ones. There's foreshadowing in the lyrics and scenes, and I just love how they decided to draw the last scene of the op: eren's titan form on the right side of the screen running towards the left side. It's a play on cinematography foreshadowing that whatever the character is doing, it will end up badly(metaphorically or physically). Overall, the op gave off an ominous and dreadful feeling, and that's exactly what we should expect from s4. I can't think of any other way they could make a better op if they want viewers to delve seriously on the issue s4 wants to bring, thus for me, s4 op is as you said, spectacular 10/10.
Then you've got a bad eye.
It is not that the animation is bad.
Te real truth is that you never apreciatted how good wit studio treated aot and thats why you dont see any difference but after watching some scenes again and comparing you will see that wit studio was a 10 while mappa on aot is 7,the downgrade in s4 is still watchable but the art and animation in fights against titans is not there when it was before.
So all it takes is apreciatte the story until 131 animated at least. After that it will lose the storytelling and I hope the animation will carry.
Anyways,if the animation is better than before, the next 4 chapters of aot will surpass reiner and bertholdt transformation (122 animated)

@@RS-wx8rz i think the people who complained about that didn't complain about that anymore after Season 4 came out, with or without gabi lmao
But yeah I agree with you, she's this kind of character that I don't like, but I know she's a great addition to the cast
Well actually she thought the same as Eren, just about the Eldians from Paradis. She was "propaganded" into thinking they're the devils, and children are the easiest being to "program", that's why she was so stuck to her beliefs and took longer for her to change her mind (as well as she needed some tough experiences).
I like the point somebody made in the comments of my polish community, that the actual difference between Eren and Gabi is that Gabi "went with the flow" meaning she ate all the propaganda and was super obedient, loyal, dedicated to it. While Eren went against walls' propaganda since he was little (so as Armin) and was dedicated to, well, _freedom_ in every way.
The rumbling is today !!!! FINAL SEASON LET'S GO !!!! #2023
“Arc 5 Eren kidnaps himself” killed me
Actually that was the exact phrase i thought while watching season 4
S1-3 Eren in season 4: “that time I got reincarnated as a little girl named gabi”
>Gigguk comparing AoT to Game of Throne's ending

I began watching Aot in 2022.
Never regretted the decision :D
that beat drop after "we're watching history being made" literally got me in tears wtf
*Eren sitting in front of Levi*
Eren: Call the fangirls
Levi: huh
Eren: but not for you
😂😂😂
Welp i don't even think that Levi gonna keep having fan girl's
Oh wait it's a spoiler
Since he's gonna break his leg i think and his whole face will be full with wounds
Oh well at least he won't be hitting eren again kek
Tsk levi fan girl's are still persistent
@@somethingisrisinganditsnot9566 pretty sure fangirls arent that pathetic to only care for levi's looks smh
@@somethingisrisinganditsnot9566 nah- Levi’s fangirls(including me) are still simping for him

Hats off to Gigguk and his Editor.
Gigguk and Sydsnap are a power couple that includes a husband that talks about Anime and a wife that talks about hentai.
The announcement for part 2 coming out in January 2022 has been released and I am so excited!!
It never gets old watching the beautiful montage of music and animation at the end of these kind of videos.
"Hey, look, is that EvAbridged?"
So he still remember that it exists...

“We aren’t just watching another anime come to an end. We are watching history being made.” That gave me goosebumps for some reason.
AHHHHH the awaited sequel to the Attack on Titan is Incredible video has finally come
I love how there's not even spoiler warnings to game of thrones despite how recent it was cause literally no one gives a shit anymore
it was a year ago.. not quite what I'd call 'recent'
@@kiro3779 I'd say it's recent in the grand scheme of things.
