Really neat image of a crack found showing the difference in responses between phased array and TFM.
With TFM we can "light it up" from both sides, producing a great response off the crack itself and the weld cap. By comparison, with the PAUT beam center exiting only at the center of the probe, it can't see around the crack like TFM can. This was just regular TFM FMC, with a Vermon NDT 64-element 10MHz probe and L-L mode on Sonatest Veo3.
