Get together with other country's teams! The U.S. Women's team winning record is treated like dirt! While the men's team loses and loses they are paid more than twice as much and celebrated like heroes! Imagine the media frenzy and all the surrounding chaos if the Womans team challenged the Men's team publicly! 3 out of 5! (say, for charity!) They would have to play! No way the men could get out of it! Oh, what a Worldwide game changer! Win or lose for Women it's a Gold medal win! The whole world would be watching and the standards would be forced to change! But ... The Men who 'own' it would never 'allow' it! The Women's team would win tho the men would bring on their best game. Ego and stress would finish them.

Hi BestBloke, as the video mentions, Goal Diggers accommodates all abilities, so we aren't trying to say that we are 'better' than anyone else, but to shine a light on the positive things we all get out of playing the game, and that we want it to be easier for more people to play football

I used to love playing football until a serious injury at 28 brought it to an end. My wife and I had two daughters and it came as a pleasant surprise that my youngest daughter started playing football. I ended up helping run her team with another Dad and the bulk of the girls stuck with the team for around 10 years until they finished high school. Over that time I was amazed how good some of the players were. I think football is a great game for girls/women and unlike the boys and men who seem largely driven by their egos the girls and women just seem to enjoy playing. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the England ladies team gets stronger and stronger over the next few years.

it is going to take another decade of training for women to be taken remotely seriously, Womens football at a premier level is absolute garbage , it is unsuitable for females as a premier sport but not as a fitness or social activity
The recent world cup was proof of the inequality of talent world wide, usa winning 13-0 against a bunch of street cleaners and waitresses, people missing the most basic of kicks or passes. Look at tennis and the level of skill in the womens game, despite not being up to par of the mens it is at the very least competent and competitve, womens' Football just is not there.
My god the amount of buzzwords, there is absolutely no such thing as non binary.

Hi Archie, I feel like the negative response to the video actually speaks volumes about how strangely offended people get by us playing football! It is a shame as our access to pitches is negatively affected by these opinions, and personally, I really enjoy playing football and it is really good for my mind and my fitness. I hope that you agree that we should be able to play a sport we love without being laughed at!

@@lilygrant6333 I in fact agree completely and see nothing wrong at all with women playing football. I think what people are offended by is not the idea but more the way in which this video portrayed the issue. It is overly political and attempts to attack men, which not necessarily wrong, is not a great way to gain any sympathy or put across a good argument.
Definitely women should be allowed to play whatever sport they want.

@@lilygrant6333 archie is right, womens football at a competitive level is complete and utter bobbins and in no way should be attempted to be held in the same breath as mens sport until you see a level familiar to that of Tennis, where it is competitive even though clearly not up there with federer etc. But they can actually physically play actual real higher level tennis as opposed to a hens night afternoon at the local park .
It was pretty unfair overall the ban to begin with, but it shows there is a long way for there to be any sort of real quality where it is not even up to par of local mens teams
