The story of Likey is actually really sad (My theory btw)... It's about a girl perfecting her looks to look the best on social media or in this case Instagram. She wants to look the best so that this person that they fell in love with would like them. She also doesn't want the person to know that she has feelings for them so she conceals these feelings by pretending. Then, she can't hold it back anymore she doesn't want to hide those feelings anymore. She wants the person to find out rather than she telling them because she's scared of the outcome. Here's the disadvantage of pretending: The person still doesn't see her true feelings and doesn't respond at all. She keeps pretending to conceal the sadness and melancholy that she feels due to the person not realizing her true feelings. In the end, she finally finds an answer. Her answer was to embrace those feelings of sadness and solitude and let them all out. The person finally finds out and accepts it and confesses back that they like her too. This is shown at the end of the mv of a person "liking" their post. I'm sure there is more to it but y'all can do whatever you want with this.
I honestly already knew from the first listen that April Story (the actual title translation is "The Story of the Spring") was a sad song, I even cried at first listen, the song is basically about a girl from the land of spring who saw a boy from the land of ice, the girl developed feelings for the boy but the boy is has feelings for a girl from his own land, so the spring girl forced to hide her own feelings and wished for the ice couple to be happy.
Twice's music always have been versatile and their songs have a deeper meaning but ppl like to discredit them and say the lyrics are superficial without ever really looking into them. They have songs what transcend age. I've been with twice since their beginning (2015), when i was 15 years old, till now and i'm 21 years old. At 15, 16, 17, their songs about crushes were super relatable to me and now that i'm 21, songs like Up No More (written by Jihyo) which talks about insomnia and Handle It (written by Chaeyoung) which talks about missing and yearning for someone are more relatable for me. They have songs what transcend age boundaries.

i really think that twice is underrated? or underappreciated with regards to their music. most stans/people when ask about twice will first think cutesy and visuals but their discography has also a variety. its so much more than what you all think and all should just really listen to their albums more

The story of Likey is actually really sad (My theory btw)...
It's about a girl perfecting her looks to look the best on social media or in this case Instagram. She wants to look the best so that this person that they fell in love with would like them. She also doesn't want the person to know that she has feelings for them so she conceals these feelings by pretending. Then, she can't hold it back anymore she doesn't want to hide those feelings anymore. She wants the person to find out rather than she telling them because she's scared of the outcome.
Here's the disadvantage of pretending:
The person still doesn't see her true feelings and doesn't respond at all. She keeps pretending to conceal the sadness and melancholy that she feels due to the person not realizing her true feelings.
In the end, she finally finds an answer. Her answer was to embrace those feelings of sadness and solitude and let them all out. The person finally finds out and accepts it and confesses back that they like her too. This is shown at the end of the mv of a person "liking" their post.
I'm sure there is more to it but y'all can do whatever you want with this.

I honestly already knew from the first listen that April Story (the actual title translation is "The Story of the Spring") was a sad song, I even cried at first listen, the song is basically about a girl from the land of spring who saw a boy from the land of ice, the girl developed feelings for the boy but the boy is has feelings for a girl from his own land, so the spring girl forced to hide her own feelings and wished for the ice couple to be happy.
I knew for some of those songs but for some songs I'm really shock and sad....😭

I've been with twice since their beginning (2015), when i was 15 years old, till now and i'm 21 years old. At 15, 16, 17, their songs about crushes were super relatable to me and now that i'm 21, songs like Up No More (written by Jihyo) which talks about insomnia and Handle It (written by Chaeyoung) which talks about missing and yearning for someone are more relatable for me. They have songs what transcend age boundaries.
